Earthbound
Ok, I'm not sure what's wrong. Whenever I have attempted to play GTA4, I've been halted at this screen. It started to occur after I the last update was applied. I've done all the usual bits, such as rebooting the system, cleaning the disk, kicking it... but no luck thus far. Other games work fine. Starting to shit me. Has anyone else had this issue?
Damjan
Turn off the auto save, that might help. I forgot. That's the loading screen.I dunno, does the game have an autoupdate file in its directory? If there is,by anyway disable it and download the previous update manually from somewhere. GTA Don
Umm... you could try deleting the game install file thingy in 'Game Data Utility' on the XMB. I don't know if that would work though.

GTA Don
I know. When you first play the game on the PS3, it installs a few files to your hard drive. They aren't really necessary, they just help the game to load a little better.
Earthbound
Necessary to make the game load a little better? It's 3 painful gig. lol. Well, that seems to have done the trick. Why didn't I think of that. Thanks Don. You're a champion.
