JustADummy
Hello, my GFX Card is a nVidia 8500GT and I know it can be "RAM-Shared" with the system. It says it can take up to 1GB and I have 3GB of System RAM, I also know that I'll only stay 2GB but that's enough for what I want. So the question is: How do I do that in my Asus P5B SE? Thanks. _Ray
Can't find anything... Then you probably can't do it. Get GPU-Z and get some info on your card, it might tell you whether you can share RAM or not.
JustADummy
I know I can because Vista says it too in Advanced Display Options.
_Ray
I know I can because Vista says it too in Advanced Display Options. I don't know a lot about this stuff, but I'm sure there's a GPU tuning program out there, I've seen them, just can't remember what they're called. Have you searched thoroughly through Advanced Display Options to see if that option is buried somewhere in there? I'm running XP, so I don't know an awful lot about Vista. GTA Don
It should do it automatically. I only have like 128mb on this onboard chip and it automatically allocated 1GB of my RAM for video. Check dxdiag.
