Greensabre13.
So, I've been thinking about getting a new computer. I have a friend that knows how to construct a custom one, so I'm considering asking him to build one for me. So, my question is this. Does anybody have any recommendations in regards to CPU, RAM, external HDD's, etc?
WRX22B1998
ummmmmmm some more info would be good...you wanna use this for gaming or just everyday use? whats your budget. if you're near a MSY, they have really good prices but sometimes they are out of stock on things so give them a call before you go there. Also, know what you want before you go there sometimes there's a line, when i went there was 2 or 3 people, but other people have said there's lines out the door! lol you could get this ... if you got 17k to spare hahaha. on the whirlpool site they have some recommended builds here and some more here
Greensabre13.
Alright, some more information is needed, I believe. ^-^ I'm planning to use it for mostly gaming, although general use would be in the description somewhere. I see that Seagate external HDDs are the way to go, maybe?
Pandora
Never ever have I seen such an overpriced system. You can get that for about a third the price. And no way for external HDD's Anyway, give me your budget and I'll come up wtih a very nice setup for you. I do need to know though, do you need any new speakers, keyboard, mouse or anything else with it?
Greensabre13.
I was thinking that maybe I'd get everything new, so yeah, new mouse, keyboard, etc. One of my friends is really into techno and dancing, so maybe I could ask him about some decent speakers to buy. WRX22B1998
Never ever have I seen such an overpriced system. You can get that for about a third the price. remember this is in AUD. in pounds its 8313. ive been looking at speakers myself lately, they say z2300 is good but the bass is sort of boomy and has no midrange. im currently hunting for altec lansing MX5021 in black (found a place in WA that sells them but only white) have a look at those whirlpool links i posted they have good builds there.
