Damjan
Ok, i need something that's quiet, the one i have on this PC now is louder than a tractor's engine, so i need something medium in size, but quiet.Any suggestions?
Spaz The Great
Water-cooling. Shit's quiet as shit. Besides that, I'd suggest just looking on parts websites. Usually the description tells you if it's quiet or not...... Doesn't it? >.>
Damjan
Can you point me to a water cooling, but to be around 50->80 $, and still do the trick?
rockstarrem
Pretty sure water cooling is more expensive then that.
Damjan
^ anyways, whatever price, but be the cheapest, worth the money.
WRX22B1998
if you dont wanna spend $$ for watercooling, depending on what you have, you can get like .. heatsinks etc. my friend has thermalright ultra 120 extreme for his CPU. however for graphics cards, they either come with heatsink + fan , just fan, some come with just heatsink. but i think changing the heatsink/fan etc on them would be a bit of a pain. Pandora
Get a TR Ultra 120 Extreme! It's great! Well, only get it if you want to overclock your CPU. Otherwise it just isn't worth it. Maybe an Asus Silent Square? It's silent and not all that expensive or anything (:.

Damjan
Made my mind, found a cooler, thanks for your help anyways.
Pandora
That's an overclocking cooler.. though it can be used for passive cooling, I'd go for a cooler that's actually designed for passive operation. Unless you want to OC and just want silent operation.
_Ray
I got a XIGMATEK Dark Knight cooler. Pros: Does a good job cooling, keeps my i7 under 55C after 10 minutes of 100% load (But not OC'd) Quiet White LEDs Cheap Cons: Touches the Side of the case it's so big (Prevented me from putting in my extra 120mm fan I bought) So heavy you think it's gonna break the mobo ugly Edited July 28, 2009 by Raybob
