Damjan
I told you Alienware sucks balls. Try putting this on your GTA IV shortcut(the target line).Right click, properties, and find where it says target.Make a space, and add : -norestrictions -nomemrestrict
JustADummy
That makes the game stutter as the restrictions go over the limit and even if you have 8GB of RAM it can't hold it so it stutters.
Nork
I told you Alienware sucks balls. No. It was a vista fuck up. It disabled the card. I got it working now, though, Edited January 14, 2010 by Nork
_Ray
Glad you got it working. Just for note, a GTX 260 (whether the old 192 core or the new 216 core version) has 896MB VRAM, not 1GB. Also, GTA IV will not the memory you get from SLI. If you have 2x260s, you'll still see 896MB Ram. As to why it would say 3xxMB for a GTX 260 I have no clue, but when you say 'Vista' I'm sure you've found the problem.
