umadniko Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 I gotten $200 in e-dollar from hp and i bought a few thing and one was this items http://www.shopping.hp.com/product/computer/categories/docking_solutions/1/accessories/901880 And i got about mid 2010 so last night the docking station was acting up when is was consisting changing my display on laptop randomly but if i disconnect it is go back to normal and that lead me to diagnostic the problem and to updated driver and still nothing work so i call HP support and to my surprise "the idiot robot" at the call center couldn't find my docking station after i said my date of purchase the product and serial number a total of 5 that right "5 time" i even told them where they can find it and they reply back they have no access to hp online store "palm fail" and is get better so that lead me to e-mail them and i email the problem plus my my product and serial number and what i did for updated and guess what they told me to do the same thing that i already did and then after firing more e-mail they finally found it and then they told me that we don't know if this item was still under warranty and that please provided the serial and product number again and even ask for my laptop model number my product and serial number and that not the problem is the docking station my laptop is working fines for not until it died HP SUPPORT MAJOR EPIC FAIL ! Updated i e-mail the CEO and the press office on sunday of HP and forward the reply that i got and see what happen within a few day Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sorry i was really pissoff As i said i got a $200 e-giftcard due to last screw up so i use it for thing including the docking station and is was about mid june or july 2010 when i order what i want so after receiving it is was working and no problem so move forward to may 2011 and let me say that is still under warranty until the end of this month so when i call hp technical support where i call then "call center robot" where they read from a scrip and they don't know what they are doing and after 5 timer of me telling my information and the make/mode plus serial and product number they cant find no information of me buying this or even owning it so i hang up and 3 min latter they call me back and i just hang up so move to e-mail and i got a reply and is was still the same way and at some point someone did find my information and then inform me my warranty was expired on may 2011 and i reply back say that is still under warranty since is the last of my 1 yrs warranty and i got reply back that they cant find my information HP SUPPORT....................EPIC FAIL I never saw a usb media docking station died within 1 yrs is unbelievable and let me give you an example i have a usb 4 port belkin that is 2 yrs old and is work like a champ Edited May 16, 2011 by umadniko Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

umadniko Posted May 16, 2011 Author Share Posted May 16, 2011 Updated HP call the executive case manager lines called and they want more information but i didn't find a receipt so they told me they will do more research so while i wait for that call i check my filing cabinet for the receipt and "presto" i found and call them back and gave them item number and product and serial number and they said yes is still under warranty but i will have to dealt with the case manger aka "idiot robot call center" so i was transfer and after gave the information over the phone and put on hold for 7 min and guess what robot told me >the order number and my old address doesn't bring up any order for this docking station in another word i never own this docking station after that i was piss and told him that i will speak to my executive case worker so i redial again and i explain what happen and the y took a look and is was there and while i was the phone he was calling me 10 times from the call center but eventually the idiot robot will sent me a replacement and one last thing he ask me if my docking station was part of the laptop Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
