Drakath
So I'm playing the game and suddenly it freezes. When I open Task Manager I can see its saying "gta_sa.exe Not responding" I don't have any mods installed. I'm using Windows 8 Enterprise 64 bit. I'm running GTA:SA in Windows XP (Service Pack 3) compatibility mode.
Sherman
Hi and welcome. We're going to need a little more information. Is it around a certain mission? Did you just start playing? I'd try a reinstall first to see what that does.
Drakath
Well I just installed it few days ago, but I played it before. I'm not doing any missions. Just running around and killing people.
BlackListedB
Run it on a lower end PC or laptop, it'd be the best plan of action and not cost heaps of cash. Win8 in 64bit is simply overkill for a game made in 2005-6 Also, try more then one partition for multiple OS support boots, or try an OS on flash RAM using USB 3.0 sticks now at the 128GB size! I'm going to get one or more!
