Righty
The folder on your hard drive is write protected?
chris82
If you want to mod GTASA PC, and it's write-protected, right click on the GTA San Andreas folder, click properties, and uncheck "Read-Only." Then Click Ok. To mod the PS2/Xbox version is impossible unless you have a DVD burner, tons of expensive software, a PS2/Xbox modchip, and about 10GB of free HD space on your PC. Gav
On mine it is already unchecked(read-only). Is it because I have V2? Or am I doing something wrong? EDIT: Oh, the folder? Like in the start menu? EDIT2: Sweet it worked, thanks! Edited March 7, 2006 by Gav
chris82
Nah, you can't mod V2. (Very much) You can mod data files (like carcols.dat and handling.cfg) and texture mods, but you can't have model mods (like new cars) or memory hacking mods. (Like trainers)
