cwfc_cj Posted May 9, 2006 Share Posted May 9, 2006 (edited) I just got gta vice city and I had to reinstall is 10 times and it is still doing it. everytime I play for a 5 or 10 mins, it freezes up and then shuts down and gives me an error. then my pc goes in 16 bit color. Why is that happening? how do I fix this... Slayer Posted May 9, 2006 Share Posted May 9, 2006 Erm, JD, some people don't have 1GB RAM, and they don't need it. The minimum amount of RAM required for VC is 128MB and 256MB recomended. The CPU is ok, but I don't know about that graphics controller. What I recommend you to do is to look through the readme file and perhaps find what's the problem. And get newest drivers for your hardware, and use the 1.1 VC patch. However, if you want VC sooooooooo much, try formating the HDD. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
