sonicxtommy
The music works, the cutscenes work, but gun sounds, car sounds, everything exept music and background sounds while playing aren't working. I reinstallled to no effect, (do I need to delete the original folder?) Does anyone know how to fix this? (All the sounds work in MTA though). Chris
when you start up vice city, check in your options that sound effects and music volume are turned right up

RoadyV
Ok the game works fine except fo no sound other than when they get back to the lawyers office, the cell phone & the voice on the other end. No music, no cars, guns, or people! I have the latest drivers on my sound card and the game detects the sound hardware, but Direct X does not show the new driver - it still shows one without a WHQL. Anybody know how to get Direct X to detect the new driver? or some other way around this problem?
