zerve
Hello, ¿Can I disabe this? ¿And this? I want to make a stunt-video, and i want to disable this advertisement.
Chris
I don't think those can be turned off. Only the map and HUD can be turned off, which you seem to have already done. There may be a way by editing the .gxt files but I wouldn't know a quick and easy way for that. Though can you not just use the replay feature to capture your stunts? It is much easier to remove the flashing 'REPLAY' text than to do what you want to do.
Pandora
I think you could go into the the text files and just change the name of the places in to a pure space. So nothing will actually appear. I don't know what to do with the second one.. Open the GXT file with this tool. And try to find the names of the location's I guese. Other than that I wouldn't know how you could get it away. Edited January 3, 2007 by Jace
chris82
I'm pretty sure the stunt text on the bottom of the screen is controlled by the MAIN.SCM and is called by an event whenever you do a stunt. So I doubt that can be turned off without heavy editing of the main.scm. And even then, I could be wrong and it could be controlled by the .exe, which is even harder to edit. ceedj
This problem is now solved if anyone else comes across this topic. I've made a hook that disables those two text instances (and a few more) WITHOUT modifying any files at all that can be found HERE. Pandora
Tried it. Cool. Makes it a bit more realistic.
