GiiBz
Jace I need your help again!!!! How do i install building mods manually??? Is it like cars? exepd without handling and stuff? Also if i have to reinstall will i lose all the game data i got by playing (not by downloading a 100% mod)? If you have time can you also post a small tutorial on how to install building. Cos Gerard's tut only covers vehicles...
Pandora
All mods have a readme with it. Read that first. If you still don't know what to do, post the mod. And reinstalling won't effect the user files. Unless files are missing. But if you won't to be sure, just backup the San Andreas User Files before re-installing. GiiBz
What it GTA3.img? Is it another name for the img tool?
Pandora
gta3.img is an archive with files for cars, building, items ans sometimes only textures. It's almost everything you see in San Andreas (not including CJ and Interiors). You can open it with img tool, cause it's a .img

Pandora
You can't run San Andreas without that folder. So go to the place you installed San Andreas. There is a folder called Moddels. If you still can't find it, use the search function and just search gta3.img while in the San Andreas root Directory.

ceedj
If you have a San Andreas shortcut on your desktop, right click on it and bring up Properties. You can also do this from the Start Menu shortcut. Click on the "Find Target" button near the bottom of the dialog box. A new window will pop up showing your GTA:SA directory. Pandora
A root is let's say the basis. Like the San Andreas installation is like the roots of a try (the folder that all spit with other files). And all of it goes to the main root what is the Root Directory. Where you installed the game (probably Program Files).
