Lately, I've been seeing reviews for this PSN-exclusive called "Flower" (dubbed "the spiritual successor of flOw"). Here is some gameplay footage (watch in HD): I'm seeing some great praise for this game (or should I say "concept") (e.g. IGN - 9.0). It's $10 at the PS Store. I respect it's artistic value and style, but should I get this? Is it worth the ten bucks? I mean the "story mode" is really short, but I want something to kick back and relax to other than just blasting aliens' heads off in FPSs or other shooters. **Please, NO stupid and immature comments like "Oh! Don't get this crap, it's pointless! It's gay! Get Killzone 2! etc. etc." Otherwise, don't reply.** Thank you.

What is up with that? OK, I'm searching for it now. EDIT: It's nowhere to be found. That's strange.

Do I reakky need the Quad-core just to play GTA IV?
GTAsoldier replied to GTAsoldier's topic in GTA IV Discussion + Help
Is the auto-configure option worth to try? Because I'm really unsure how to set these options when GTA IV runs on minimum specs (the reason that is, I don't want the game look shitty on my PC [e.g. blurry/empty-modeled/pixellated graphics, choppy framerate, etc.]) -
Ever since I installed the new Internet Explorer 8 RC1, this error message comes up after the computer boots: It's nothing harmful or viral, but it's just says that it encountered a problem and it needs to close. What's does "Manager.exe" have to do with anything? Is there a fix for this. (It's nothing urgent to ask for but is there a fix?)

I'm still inFAMou$e (go ahead, admire my Junior Class Ring)

I ran the "Can You RUN It" thing to scan my computer to see if I could play GTA IV on it. It shows I got all the recommended requirements EXCEPT the Intel Quad-Core, and it can't hit the recommended mark. It's forced to stay on the minimum mark. Do I really need that shit? And if I don't, which settings in do you recommend me to set up? (If I get a response like "turn all video/draw distance/etc. to VERY LOW, I'll be so mad.)

Congratulations Obama! I pray (yeah I said it) that you do a waaay better job than Bush did for the past 8 years. Wow.......

Sorry for double posting but: I'm back on my computer. I had to reformat my HDD and reinstall XP all over again. Now we know that file that was "missing" is nonexistant. It was all part of a scheme to take my beloved supercomputer down. /thread

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/943/943740p1.html CES 2009 is currently underway in Las Vegas, and while there are tons of home audio systems, DVD and Blu-ray players, touchscreen phones and other miscellaneous cool gadgets to be seen and played with, perhaps the biggest theme this year is 3D. Long gone are the days of the blue and red paper glasses, replaced with polarized lenses or even standalone displays that promise they can provide the effect without having to wear anything on your head. Are they serious? 3D glasses as a new gimmick for the PS4? Now I may be a Sony fan (have a PS3 and loving it, but not in the extreme fanboi sense like what most of you would think) but this is just dumb (IMO). I'm not a fan of 3D films and such (never really liked 3D glasses). If I wanted realistic graphics, I'd stick with 1080p HD. It's pretty awkward for me to handle this. Your thoughts on the next PlayStation gimmick? EDIT: Oops. Wrong forum. Please move.

I have that option, but I never turned off system restore. It does show up saying that message, but the thing is recently: I'm tryin to login on safe mode but the computer got slow and it froze. I'll have to try again later when I get home since I'm at school now. EDIT: OK, I went to safe mode and clicked on that option to go to System Restore. I selected where I wanted to go back to, but it's not letting me get through. I kept on clicking "next" after the confirmation page came up and nothing happened.
-
Well I can't do a system restore on safe mode. Oh, and I contacted CyberPower and they know of this problem. They reccomended for me to partition my HDD (for backup) and that I reinstall XP. I'm gonna need a USB Floppy Drive tho for booting purposes. More info soon. I can't do everything today, that has to stay for the weekend.

How can I scan it? I can't even access my antivirus software. Not even on safe mode. In fact, it crashes on safe mode. (I'm using a different computer now).
-
Does anyone have a dll file called: "axamiwuvubomur.dll"? Here's why: I'm currently on my computer on safe mode. When I try to log in on the regular mode, an error message says: RUNDLL Windows cannot find the file "C:\WINDOWS\axamiwuvubomur.dll". Then, it gave me the dreaded BSOD. So I'm in safe mode now. Can't use regular mode. Can any of you PLEASE lend me a copy of your's? PLEASE!

I'm also considering upgrading to Vista Home Premium 64-bit. Will that erase everything as well? Is this situation worth upgrading to Vista for? BTW, I've checked the XP software computability for Vista thanks to this site I'm happy to say that all my software and such (games, antivirus, etc.) can work good with it.
-
OK, then. But upgrading it will completely wipe off all my software, documents, music, etc. like a clean install? EDIT: And I've also heard that not a lot of 32-bit drivers work well with 64-bit OS.
-
OK, now I'm generally happy with my 32-bit computer. I'm using it now. In the past, my computer was crashing because it had 4GB of RAM on a 32-bit computer. I removed one of the RAM sticks and the computer worked fine with 2GB. I thought it was a faulty RAM stick, so I just got a replacement 2GB RAM stick from CyberPower. But here's the thing: I've heard that 32-bit Windows XPs can only handle like 2GB of RAM, and a 64-bit XP can handle 4GB. Does this mean I should upgrade my system to a 64-bit? Here are my current specs specs: OS - Windows XP Home Edition 32bit SP3 Processor - Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E7300 CPU @ 2.66GHz 1066FSB 3MB L2 Cache 64-bit RAM - 2GB DDR2 Single Channel Memory (when I got it was a 2x2GB DDR2 until my OS was crashing with the BSOD Video Card - GeForce 9800GT 512MB Is my computer suitable for upgrading? If so, do I need a 64-bit Windows XP installation disk? (I've seen some that are only SP2)
-
It was that one I put above. Turns out to be the memory. My neighbor removed a RAM stick, and problem solved. Now I have 2GB of RAM (which is OK). Pretty soon I'll have to call CyberPower to ship me a replacement RAM stick so that I can have 4GB. BTW, I'm using my new computer now.
-
Good news everyone! My neighbor was a past computer technician, so I gave him my computer yesterday so that he could fix it. He fixed it today, and it's working fine. The problem was the hard drive formatting. (I'm not using it now tho) Thank God for Fritz.

As many of you know, I ordered a new computer. (See my sig.) I have it now. I wanted to upgrade it to SP3 because it felt that it was not updated. So I put in my XP install disk and went through. When it restarted, every time the Windows XP logo shows up, this happens: I tried the Recovery console, I tried everything else. And this keeps on coming. I can't even operate the damn thing. So I called CyberPower and they said somethin along the lines of: "the XP Service Pack 3 install disk works around nearly everything in the system, and since I didn't install a floppy drive, that could be the proble. An external USB drive could solve this. Or removing 1GB of memory may help" Will it? Can you guys give me other help? PLEEEASSSE???? EDIT: Or what about disabling the SATA on the BIOs? Is that safe?

Yesterday, I got an invoice regarding the power supply. If my memory serves me right, then yeah the guy said it would be like a 500 watt power supply. I'm all set. EDIT: My computer will be shipped this week. -
