I have been wondering in what way would the CPU hold me back? Would it be like a graphical lag? Or what?

Sounds really good to me. Considering GTA IV wont come till PC until the end of the year (If at all? Sorry if I have missed out here). This mod would be huge combining two major games. However, the lack of graphics would stink. Good luck!

Sorry to bring this topic back, but I didn't want to make a whole new one since this one had the same problem. I was playing SA-MP fine earlier, then all of a sudden the servers didnt refresh (except for my favorites). It isn't blocked by a firewall, and I already tried to reinstall. Also, the site has been down for a couple hours now. Could it be undergoing maintenance of some sort?

Try cleaning your registry, and deleting the User file in your documents.

Use ImageShack to upload pictures.. As for the glitch, I dont know about it. Did you purposely make the water that high?

If it's a skin, then just move the skin you downloaded into the "Skin" folder in your GTA directory. If it is a mod then I would use The GTA Installer. As for the mod/skin itself, I don't know. Check the download section of this site. They have some good skins.

I just reinstalled a mod I had used earlier, and the game now works. After all the clean installing and registry cleaning and such, it didnt help. But reinstalling the mod.. All working now, and time for some SAMP.

Im not sure. I found IMG Tool is too complicated, so I used GTA Mod Installer. It's way more simple. It even has its own file back-up feature, so when you want to uninstall a mod you do it without messing up your game.

Manually: Use IMG Tool, and open the GTA3.img file located in the Models folder under your GTA directory. Then delete the txd/dff files your going to replace, and paste in the new ones. Better way: Use SAMI or the GTA Mod Installer. The programs are pretty self explanitory. SAMI GTA Mod Installer

No. I had deleted my saved game in the process of reinstalling, so I was just trying to start a new one.

As the title says, I got a brand new SA disc last night from GameStop, and it worked perfectly until today. For some reason today I cant even load a new game. It crashes halfway through the load screen. What I have tried: Uninstall/Re install Clean Registry Restart Computer Delete all GTA Files Take off all mods Clean the disc Search my problem over Google None of the above work. I meet all minimum requirments, and have no idea what is wrong. If anyone could help, that would be great.

Yeah, thanks for trying, but I already tried that one. The front wheels dont touch the ground, so I didn't like it. But would it be possible to use a SA one and put it in via the GMI? The desc. says virtually any mod.

But I cant find it. Im looking for a Lincoln Town Car, mainly black, but I cant find one anywhere! I have seen one for San Andreas, but I dont think I can convert it to Vice City via GTA Installer. Can anyone try to help me here and link me to one? [sorry if this is the wrong section, but VC Modding seemed reasonable]

Nevermind, problem fixed. I was reading around, and seen GTA Don posted something about GTA Mod Installer. Works PERFECTLY. Thanks for posting it wherever you did. The only problem I have now is finding mods that work, but I dont think I need anymore help.. For now. Thanks anyways.
