No sooner after Valve had announced Left 4 Dead 2 at E3 many L4D fans were pissed and had organized a L4D 2 boycott. There reasons for the boycott:  Significant content for L4D1 was promised, and never delivered  Valve put little faith in L4D1 since they almost certainly started working on L4D2 right after release  The fact that L4D2 is nearly identical to L4D1 will decimate the community for both games  The announced date is not nearly enough time to polish content or make significant gameplay changes  The new character designs seem bland and unappealing so far  L4D2 is too colorful to fit in with L4D1's visual aesthetic  The fiddle-based horde music is extremely disliked, though the differently orchestrated music is otherwise welcome  L4D2's release will result in a drop in quality and frequency for L4D1 content, even compared to before  The community has lost faith in Valve's former reputation for commitment to their games post-release With already 15,000 supporters of the boycott and growing strong who knows how many more there will be by the games release date: November 17, 2009. I myself am neutral on the whole thing. I was hoping that Valve would release DLC for L4D, and not a sequel. I have racketed up many hours playing versus on L4D. And if L4D 2 can do the same that I will gladly purchase L4D 2 when it comes out. After seeing the gameplay for Modern Warefare 2, its without a doubt a first day buy. That the snowmoblie chase scence looked very fun.

That sounds like a good idea. Agent sounds seems like it has the to potential to become an all new franchise from Rockstar Games has they metioned back in 2007.

Sony has announced the exclusive PlayStation 3 game developed by Rockstar North, Agent will be set in the 1970's and will take the player across the globe in the shadowy world of espionage. Jack Trenton also said to expect Agent to have the same impact as the Grand Theft Auto series. Whatever it is its going to be awesome and exclusive to the PS3!! Yeah the Assaassins Creed trailer really made up for Ubisofts conference which in my opinion blowed.

Exclusive Rockstar game! Hurrah! I'm watching the Sony conference and the first thing he anncounced was Rockstar's PS3 exlcusive called Agent (not sure) then my sound went out has I logged onto R*s website. I coudnt hear any more. However I did hear that the game takes place in the 1970's I think. Can somebody confirm this! EDIT: For a second I fought I was hearing things, but no its true Rockstars PS3 exclusive is called Agent. Thank you Rockstar for giving us PS3 fans an exlusive.

Left 4 Dead 2! Really suprised, wish they would just release some new maps. Alan Wake looks awesome.

So wouldnt the Ballad of Gay Tony take place before that mission. Then again there are many other missions where Luis makes an apperance that take place after Three Leaf Clover.

If I had to chose someone on that list is would be Ceaser, but my favorite character is either the Truth or Mike Ternio (wow its so hard to chose one from the all the awesome characters).

There are rumors that Left 4 Dead 2 will be announced at E3. "E3 is right around the corner, and Destructoid has been hearing all sorts of juicy rumors. A lot of things are being said, and among them a very reliable source has informed us that Valve and Electronic Arts are looking to reveal Left 4 Dead 2 at E3 next week. L4D 2 will see four different survivors battling the infected horde as they try to survive the game's four scenarios. The game is said to be set during the same time frame and locations as the first title, but the four new survivors will be fighting off the infected in other parts of the same locations. To us, it sounds a bit like Ada sidequests from Resident Evil 4 -- while Leon was going through his mission, Ada was running around the same areas, doing her own thing. We're also told to expect new guns, as well as a variety of melee weapons like a baseball bat, axe, and chainsaw. Players should also brace themselves to come face to face with at least one new special infected "boss" character... something big. And fast. If what we're hearing is solid, Left 4 Dead 2 is planned for the PC and Xbox 360. While the information we received was vague, the source had been reliable in the past, and the idea of a sequel to Destructoid's 2008 "Game of the Year" was too exciting not to share. It sucks that Mafia 2 and Red Dead Redemption were bumped up to 2010. Although if it helps them create a better game than I can wait longer. Besides I'll have Bioshock 2, GTA DLC 2, Max Payne 3, and Modern Warfare 2.
