I think that we should invent computers that run off Base 3. It would make 50 TB of Base 2 data fit on 100GB of Base 3 Data. Also, analog, I believe is the way to go for Video Storage. Like a record. It could hold way more HD Data, but we gotta learn to make them more accurate, and figure out how to somhow put Video On them. It could be like a Base-500 Video Record.... That's a great idea, I thought that too, but BD Discs at the moment are WAY cheaper than solid-state drives, flash drives etc. per unit of capacity.

So. Over the years, we've gotten farther, and farther up in technology. CD, DVD, (and though about the same time) HD-DVD, and now Blu-Ray. So, what do you think the next technology will be? Explain what you think it should be, how it works, etc.

Did you install it correctly? And yeah, 0.2e sucks, very unstable, but 0.2f will be better. And it'll be about a year until the Original GTA Map is completely gone.

Besides the Pinnacle and Feltzer, I also LOVE the Stallion and Vigero, for muscle. For those of you who don't know.... So, will the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Arizona Cardinals win this year's superbowl. Me, I'm mixed because the Steelers are obviously a better team, but the Cardinals seem very mentally prepared. But, I'm still voting for the Steel Curtain. HURRY AND VOTE!!!! ONLY 26 HOURS UNTIL THE GAME!!!!

Ok, instead of going off in a tangent about gay marriage, why don't you give other points about why you don't think Obama will be a good president instead of restating what you've been saying...or is this all you've got? If you want to talk about gay marriage, discuss it here. OK then..... I think one of Obama's strong points is his demeanor and willingness to work hard.

Did you not read my whole joke about the desktop computer?? And obviously I knew that, otherwise I wouldn't have put in a link to a mobile processor.

Guys, all I'm asking is power supply and motherboard, according to the features I need, and components I already decided. ALL ELSE I ALREADY DECIDED. I can most likely use the case I have. I don't know everything that's related to the board, so ask me everything I need in the board, and then tell me what I should get.

I Recommend 3 gig of RAM and an Intel Core 2 Duo T 9550 processor if it fits in your range. 6 MB L2 Cache, 2.66 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB, Dual Core http://www.intel.com/products/processor/co...cifications.htm (Excellent computing power!) How big a screen do you need? You could save a TON of money with a smaller screen. Yeah, that processor won't hold up well. Also, you could just buy a Desktop Computer with the same performance and half the price, buy a small monitor, big battery and power converter, then tape it all together with keyboard, etc. (Might be a little big and heavy )

I agree completely with your Marriage/ Civil Union thing.

Are they NVIDIA? Because I don't want anything over 512 MB or above the GeForce line. I'm accepting other brands if they seem better for the price, but nothing above the NVIDIA GeForce. If I get NVIDIA, the 9800GT will be the one I get. Wtf is the Geforce line? Why are you getting such a low ended graphics card with such a budget? 12g of ram is crazy, not like 8g won't already make you cry. You might as well spend more on the GPU. At least go with the 512mb 4850/4870 (Radeon). 9800GT is falling behind now. Does your budget include the moniter and other accessories? YES I need RAM becuase I do a ton of multitasking, and want a PC that will last a while. But you're right, 8 is enough, ecspecially quad channel. I don't need a high-end card because I don't do high-end of gaming. The 9800GT is enough. In fact, I was gonna get a 256MB Radeon 3650, but decided I may need more.

For almost $400???????? Yeah, no. The Cards I'm talking about are under $150. I'm also considering 12GB of RAM, depending on how the prices go over the next year. (I'm a major multitasker)

Well, maybe a disagreeable post, but at least we're back on topic. Also, I don't think Gay Marriage is right, because it's really just unnatural, and not meant to be that way. And no, I don't have anything against gays, I just don't think they should be able to get married. Like I said, marriage is meant to be between a man and a woman. Civil Union or whatever, is fine, just not traditional marriage. Also, just out of curiosity, who voted Obama will never be a good president? I voted that he will in a few years.

My main reasons I'm even considering Dell is taht my Dad doesn't want the hassle, plus it would cost more to get the software, keyboard, multi-media reader, operating system, etc. that we need. I've already decided most of what I need, and I'm probably gonna go Newegg. CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 (2.83 GHz, 45 nm tech, 4 cores, 1333 FSB, 12 MB Cache) RAM: 8 GB DDR2 Quad Channel @ 800 MHz GPU: Probably NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT 512 MB (like Spaz said, the other GPU they told me about hasn't gotten such good ratings.) Optical Drive: BD-RE/ HD-DVD ROM Drive HDD: Likely a 750GB SATA 7200RPM Drive, plus my current 80GB IDE Drive if it's compatible OSS: Windows Vista SP1 64-bit, or Windows 7 if it comes out within the next year. I still have to figure out my Power Supply and Motherboard, etc. Also, I'd probably use the fans in my computer now, if they fit, use same power plug, etc. And like I said, I'd prefer Onboard 5.1/ 7.1 Sound, it's cheaper and I don't need better, my speakers suck ass. But if I couldn't find a good enough Onboard Sound Board, I could get a cheaper Sound Blaster Audigy, etc.

I have an AMD Athlon 64 2800+ Processor. I have a Gigabyte motherboard which will let me increase the CPU Host Frequency, but not the memory frequency or CPU Voltage. So, how far up can I overclock? My Processor, if you don't know, is a single-core 1.8GHz, 200 MHz FSB, and 512k Cache (No laughing please) I have 512MB Ram @ 200 MHz. Right now, I overclocked the host to 222 MHz, (222 MHz FSB, 2.0 GHz CPU Clock) and it's pretty stable.

I'm considering building a new computer, or just ordering one from Dell with my 25% off coupon. Unfortunatly, the Motherboard is the one computer part that I don't know a lot about. My budget is $2,000. I can't decide which motherboard to get. I'm not exactly sure about all the features I need, other than: 8 USB Ports 10/1000 Ethernet PS/2 Keyboard Connection (I could get a new USB Keyboard if needed) Onboard Sound (Preferrably 5.1 or 7.1 Channel Audio) CPU Frequency, CPU Voltage, RAM Frequency, and GPU Frequency/ Voltage(?) Control I've decided everything else, so if you need any info on my chosen video card, processor, etc., let me know. I am likely to get a 500 Watt power supply, but 600 would be OK if it's needed. Also, I would prefer a Gigabyte motherboard.

Give me an example of a word I typed that you think I don't know what it means. Because if I wrote it, I know what it means.

I know, it's fucking awesome. I'll tell ya, to get that type of speed around here, you gotta look hard and pay an ass load of cash.
