  1. Yes, I even deleted commandline.txt and it persists, wadafak?
  2. Kay so I'm using these command lines to improve performance in IV / EFLC: -noprecache -nomemrestrict -norestrictions And it works, although I still have to keep the game close to minimum settings, it runs better. But there's always a catch... After half an hour or so of game play (sometimes less) the game starts to have memory problems (map not loading, A.I. failing to work, general game functions failing), and after an hour or so the problem becomes so bad I can't even fix it with ALT + TAB or re-loading the game. Same problems I had when I had a 768 MB RAM PC. Now, I know this can't be fixed, since you don't just mess with the game settings and expect it to run right (although most games do, Cockstar). So I was wondering if anybody knows how to install the Ultimate Performance Tweak 2? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYoe4XxDM1M When I run the install.exe it gives me an error message ''SecuLauncher failed to start etc etc''. And if I copy the files manually in the game folder the game crashes on start up. My PC: Intel Core i5 661 3.33 GHz, both cores running. 4GB DDR3 RAM Windows 7 Ultimate 32b GeForce 9400GT 1GB (yes I know it sucks and I need a new one, I'm working on it but in the meantime..)
  3. Another Midnight Club game for PC wouldn't be bad ether
  4. I think we'll see an announcement in the Summer. Looking at the job adverts at Rockstar North over the past few months, they haven't even started a lot of the work yet. Release probably March 2012 or even October 2012 if they haven't started yet (but that's unlikely). Lol? After the sales at GTA IV they have no excuse for not being at least for 2 years ahead in development.
  5. Already got the collection Happy New Year. By the way I think Rockstar are inactive not TGTAP :-/ I mean sirsly? 3 years and the next GTA game isn't even announced?
  6. San Andreas is my favorite Grand Theft Auto game my favorite game, it would be wrong to say that I would come back to it because I haven't stopped playing it since 2004 (despite the fact that I now have a high-end PC). I own it 3 times: PS2 Special / Limited Edition (finished it once, story line twice, no cheats), PC 1.0 version (finished it 2 times, story line 5 times, cheated more or less, once with no cheats at all) and Steam 1.1 version which I never installed. 2nd after would be Vice City which I own once for PC (finished 3 times, I haven't used cheats or mods but I can't say I was entirely fair, for example I waited till I unlocked the Hunter to do the vigilante missions) and once for the old Xbox, the Xbox version I only played on a friend's 360, froze several times. And 3rd would be IV and EFLC (finished 'em 4 times, each) which I used to own for PC but I gave it away, I'll get it off Steam if it's on sale, although they have a lot of problems (especially on PC) and although Rockstar is turning into a money whore the core gameplay, with the broken driving and all, is better than ever... As for GTA III I only own it for PC, finished it once with no cheats or mods, tried to finish it again but I gave up cause compared to GTA San Andreas it has a lot of flaws it was hard to get used to it again. The GTA's before GTA III I wouldn't go back to, they were good back in their day but I don't wanna play 'em again. I own them all for PC and PS1 tho. PS: I'm not really into buying games, GTA is an exception. Maybe Rockstar should take note you c*ck s*cking money whores. EDIT: Forgot about GTA LCS and VCS. LCS I own for PS2 but I never played it, I got it in 2007 shortly after I finished VCS and shortly before my PS2 died... tried to play it with PCSX2 but can't figure out how to use it, plus I think I need a joypad. VCS I finished the story, didn't get to finish the whole game... didn't get to experience most of it actually since I only thundered thru the story before my PS2 broke.
  7. (This is for TLAD, TBOGT and GTAIV) Ok so apparently I have achieved 100% completion although I'm not sure if I passed the Champagne Drink off, and I did get to buy all the ammo I wanted, problem is the extra ammo doesn't save, if I restart the game all my weapons reload to the default maximum ammo. This is stupid as the ability to carry as much ammo as you wanted was one of the best features in the classic GTA's. How can I make the ammo save? Will it work if I use some kind of mod? And where can I find it?
  8. I agree, the controls suck, especially om the PC version. But all the missions in TBOGT are incredibly easy so I'm guessing you're just here to troll. If you hate GTA and Rockstar so much you can always join the other losers in World of Warfags or whatever it was called. I hear it's for ages 35 and up.
  9. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1337 I keep rotating the mouse like an idiot but nothing happens! Only once the pink line raised a bit but that's all... Fawk Any suggestions? The Drink Off is the only thing left to do before 100% completion. PS: .i.(O_o).i. Rockstar

  11. Kay so I recently got the GTA collection from Steam for 7$, best deal of my life, I now own all GTA's up to Vice City twice and GTA San Andreas 3 times (once on PS2) So anyway I was getting all nostalgic n' shit and decided to re-play each and every one of them (except GTA1 and GTA2, lol). I started with GTA III and it seems to have a few problems: 1st the radio stations are missing. I know the radio stations have always been tricky in GTA III but I honestly don't remember how I fixed it... 2nd problem are the physics and maaaan are they broken... random stuff keeps happening but what annoys me most are the fact that cars can't seem to go in reverse, I keep holding S and although the wheels spin and the lights flash the car just seems to do a reverse burnout... sometimes, other times works, random. Another kick in the balls would be the actor physics, for example: I started running from cops near the Pay N Spray in Red Light and I suddenly jumped from the sidewalk to the lower section losing half of my HP (don't even remember that being possible, good ol' days when you could jump off a building and only lose 10 HP). And that's not even the worst example, can't even say how many times I got randomly killed by map slopes and stuff. 3rd problem are the cheats, they don't work. And finally the blood... there doesn't seem to be any... My PC: Intel Core i5-661 3.33GHz (core-duo) 4GB RAM (2GB in use cause of 32b OS) GeForce 9400GT 1GB Windows 7 Ultimate 32b I tried running both the Steam version and my disk version which I managed to dig out. I could always pirate it since I already own the game twice but this got me banned from NFScars so forget I said that... Solutions? PS: This is the 1st time I tried running GTA III or Vice City on this PC, GTA San Andreas and SA-MP work fine.
  12. I heard about it but... yeah IDK exactly what it does.
  13. We all know GTA is better... always has been... because of that, and despite the title, I'm not gonna compare the too. What I wanna compare instead is the attention Rockstar is giving to them. What we got from GTA IV: -An epic Xbox 360 and PS3 game, but a rushed, shitty ported, SecuFAG protected PC version. -2 DLC's. That's it. 2. -A Special Edition. What we got from Red Dead Redemption: -A good Xbox 360 and PS3 game. -Tons of DLCs. And they keep comming. -More multilayer events than in GTA. My point is that Rockstar seems to have abandoned all the other games except Red Dead Redemption. I mean, there haven't been any news about Max Payne 3 in a few months, although based on what Rockstar said when they 1st announced it, the game should have been released by now. There haven't been any announcements about a new Midnight Club game... And I'm especially pissed off that they abandoned GTA IV although any idiot knows that GTA IV was far more successful than any other game. Bottom line is Rockstar turning into EA?
  14. If it's Vice City, high-five! If it's France or any other non-American country like some dudes been saying then I'll kill myself.
  15. Emm.. is there actually anybody who takes requests? I doubt it...
  16. Well I finished the game twice, the only difference I made though was on the last choice. Initially I picked Deal, cause Roman's text saying ''Darko didn't help remember?'' made me think (I killed Darko for the cool execution). And tbh the Deal ending is the best (most dramatic, + the missions were better). But the 2nd time I chose Revenge cause I missed Roman's phone calls that nearly got me killed in a gun fight and his free cab service...
