Are you using the mods for the first time? And please be more specific about what and which mod you were trying to use! The only advice i would give you is read the instructions in the readme file if there is any!

At the time of uninstalling did you forget to delete the the gtasa.exe file also if possible delete the previous saved games, uninstall it once again make sure you have deleted the gtasa.exe file(executable file) reinstall the game in another drive and start a new game or download a saved game and play hope it works

Looks like you are new in modding try downloading a tuitorial for how to install mods as it is hard to explain each step if you still cant mod the game check some youtube videos and oh yes before modding always create a backup of the data folder/entire game in another folder

Well there are many websites that provides download of original .dff and .txd files you can search them in google and also remember that before you use the img tool always make a backup of your original data folder just in case

Or after saving the first mission it use the cheat seaways and get to the other side for a free roam and then start your previously saved game result = free roam to the other side + no cheats applied
