Well I worked yesterday and earned a a fair amount of ££££ and will be working tomorrow as well, because its a Bank Holiday Monday I should be earning more.
-
Not sure about this, I will have a look at the PSM magazine tomorrow, it does have a huge IV review though, I think PS will get something but not sure what, the only reason I can think they would get something is that they are outselling IV on PS3 than 360 I have heard.
-
^ I meant in the first week of sales and this is worlwide I was talking about (sorry if I didn't get the point across) they will approximately get around $400 million.
-
Hang on, this might be something to do with your router not your XBOX, are you sure your router is working properly?
-
I guess being a goalie is hard? I play right back sometimes and sometimes centre midfield or defensive midfield, I am like Owen Hargreaves like player although nowhere near as good as him.
Anyway how is everyone today?
-
Chelsea realy football? Man Utd may have defended but they defended well and still United had chances thats why they scored, United deserve to be in the final. Messi couldn't do much against a nice Man Utd back 4 plus how can you say Chelsea play nice football, they play crappy football and just hit long balls into Drogba.
-
I heard there going to make 400 million $ just in the first week of sales, anyway for the UK on the first day that is not bad at all, But by now its probably broken the 1 000 000 mark

I also don't think there will be PC versions for GTAIV, but most times I say it I get flamed for it. What I think is that the next GTA will have to come out in the next 2/3 years as I dont think people will wait another 4 years for a GTA. Thus there will be no time to waste on a PC version. I reckon if there is a PC version though it will be announced in the next 3/4 months.

Happy Birthday man, I didn't know you used to be 16, I thought you were 18 or something. Anyway have a good one'

Guess who's back? Back again? Jack is back; tell a friend. As expected, Jack Thompson has emerged from the underside of whatever rock he's been hiding under for the past few years, just in time to go after Grand Theft Auto IV for -- guess what? -- excessive sexual content in Grand Theft Auto IV.
As noted in a recent Ars Technica article, Wacky Jacky has an "unlikely" bit of ammo for his case against GTA IV: a video, produced by IGN, highlighting the strip clubs and prostitutes that exist in Grand Theft Auto IV. For some ungodly reason, though, IGN seems to have thought it was a good idea to make a four minute video out of it, showing Niko and his "encouters" followed by him hunting down the ladies shortly thereafter.
From the Ars Technica article:
The embattled Florida attorney has written a letter to the US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, R. Alexander Acosta, demanding that legal action be taken against Take Two and retailers for selling the game...
Thompson sent a copy of the letter to Ars Technica, and his demands are far-reaching. "Indictments should be returned against Take Two corporately and its Chairman, Strauss Zelnick, along with other Take Two officers. Indictment should also be against Sony and Microsoft which are making this pornographic game available to minors, and openly so, on their PS3 and Xbox systems," Thompson wrote. "Further, indictments should be handed down against Wal-Mart, Best Buy, GameStop, and all other retailers distributing this game to minors at their retail stores, openly, to kids who are only seventeen."
He then compares the game to, of all things, polio. "Grand Theft Auto IV is the gravest assault upon children in this country since polio. We now have vaccines for that virus... The 'vaccine' that must be administered by the United States government to deal with this virtual virus of violence and sexual depravity is criminal prosecutions of those who have conspired to do this. If you doubt me, look at the aforementioned streaming audio/video. It will make you sick."
While I'm certainly no fan of Jack Thompson or his ridiculous antics (and I'd love to argue the point that "innocent 17 year olds" are only a year away from being legally able to engage in such lude acts on camera for money... or in some cases, poorly-made t-shirts), it's hard to blame the man when IGN practically hands him a gift-wrapped video of inevitable controversy. Really... what the hell is IGN thinking by producing a video like this, removing all contextual elements of the game, and having Niko engage prostitutes and then hunt them down?
While it's unlikely that those in a position of authority will do much of anything in response to Jack's complaint, there's no doubt that the controversy will continue as we get further into the summer months. As usual, you can expect us to keep you updated on whatever whimsical nonsense spews forth from the great gooey geyser that is mainstream media.

Not surprised really, I remember a few incidents withthe 360/PS3 launches like this. The only good news is that the victims won't have any permaneant damage.
-
I cant belive you can watch TV in the safehouses, it doesn't really matter if its crap or not, I guess it gives info on numbers and such or websites though for players to use I am guessing, seems quite realistic.
-
I cant believe no one is talking about the huge game tonight, Man Utd v Barcelona, arguably the two finest sides in the world, this game will be terrific and I have been looking forward to it for a long time, should be a good game.
-
Well I hope I am proved wrong, I would love for it to come to PC but got a gut feeling it won't. If it does though they should be announcing it within the next 3 months or so I would have thought.
-
I always say this and get flamed for it but I dont think they will do a PC version, the website above though is bullshit I dont think R* would want to spend time on a PC version when they could be planning for the next game, plus I dont think people will want to wait another 4 years for the next GTA do I think R* will have to create the next GTA within 2/3 years.
-
I ain't surpirsed to be honest but they will get that back easily in no time. They will break the $billion mark with this game as theres so much hype around it.
-
Its far too late now, I am not sure if you even turn up at the store you will get a copy, I've heard that my nearby games shops are sold out, but I am not sure if thats pre-orders or everything. Just ask GAME or someone how many copies are going on normal sale.
-
Im not sure about this but I will be getting the game late June, because im already in LCF does that mean I am in this clan?
Anyway if I am not can I apply?
PSN ID is - redunited

Got a huge problem people, my internet is working fine with my computer but not my router anymore meaning I cant get online with the PS3, but now when I try to do an update via storage box it wont let me, maybe itmight be because I've always done them through the internet? Anyway I will be trying to get my router fixed before I get IV though.
-
I reckon this game is going to break the record of most sold games. I read somewhere 20 million copies are already sold.
I personally dont like seeing gameplay videos just because it sort of takes something away when you actually play the game, might lower the hype. This game will be good no doubt about it, I'm already thinking about the gta fter this.
-
This is the really bad thing about seeing gameplay videos or previews that give info on missions, it does sometimes give away a bit of the hype and you may make assumptions without even playing the game, next time don't try to look for lots of information and you will be excited by the next GTA.
For me it wont dissapoint, it will be a good game, it has a lot of hype and it will be a good game.
-
I have to admit I have never heard any of the songs that are listed above but I am sure they will be great, R* are really good producing soundtracks, I cant think of a bad one they ahve created really.
-
There amazing, the lightning is top notch and all the reflections. The explosions seem much more realistic now, the game has definetly improved a lot. Just like San Andreas I think R* have really raised the standard on next gen gaming with IV.

Midnight launch doesn't appeal to me, I'd rather have a good nights kip and get it the following morning and play it. I have never liked ques.
Jack Thompson reaches out to Take Two exec's mother

I think he has taking this a tad too far, sending letters to family members of the Chief Exec is wrong, if I were Zelnick I would sue JT for sending provocative letters. This guy will never give up but I dont think he will do anything major to stop the game selling.
