I could be wrong but would an Australian PS3/360 work with an UK/American game?
Anyway to get it online I would suggest Amazon although play.com will surely also have a PAL version plus play.com is very reliable.

I understand what you mean, just wondered (haven't read article) if he has used cheats because that makes the game soo much easier, if he hadn't used cheats I would be a little worried however when he says he blitzed them, it tell me he has used cheats.

24 hours though blitzed sounds bad, I was thinknig more 50 hours or so, quite dissapointed with that but I am going to take my time too, plus he may have used cheats.

Dont get me wrong, I like the 'American' crime themes in GTA however I want R* to do something different having 3 different cities in three totally different locations would be good. Tokyo is a good shout and also London, Tokyo because of its fast cars and London because of the great landmarks it has and the criminals it has.
To me doing Vice City again would show lack if ideas for R*.
Also this might be a bit off topic but I would like a 70s theme in a game. Driver (Parallel Lines) had this and it worked welll there.

Its probably not R* its just a person. I very much doubt they would be doing beta testing now. Stupid really that someone would create a pointless account.

The HUD looks normal to me. It will do for me because I aint too fussed about these things, I'd just be worried if you dont have a HDTV with the size of that hud, it'll be difficult to see it. Good HUD but I dont think R* should have released it.

I would be seriously disspaointed if they re-visited Vice City, I want something new, maybe a Tokyo/London area would be better, Rome maybe?

Well to me this is my simple idea what has happened to the past charachters -
Claude Speed escaped Liberty City and goes to Carcer City (Carcer city was mentioned in one of the radios of the games, cant remember which)
Tommy got too old and lost his empire, meaning he is dead now
CJ goes to Vice City to retire from all the crime in San Andreas
Victor Vance dies in 86'
Toni runs the mafia after Sals death but I dont know what will happen to him as the Leones wont be in the new LC.

After thinking about it IF ( and thats a big IF) EA take over and just let R* get on with making the game themselves, and EA will only help market the game, I wouldn't see anything wrong with that, but I think EA will mess things up.
Just look at Fifa constanstly the crapper game to Pre Evo and still they hardly make any improvements.

Not sure whether it is fake or real, some seem genuine but other not so. I reckon some of them are just guessed although they seem like good guesses, could be real though.

To be honest I'm with gtaraider, if a charachter were to return I would only like to see him so we can understand the difference of LC 01' and LC 08' thats the only reason I see why.

If you already have the 360, which is undoubtedly the better console for GTAIV, why would you buy a PS3?
I'm not a big console gamer so I can't tell you about exclusives.
Did I sa ythe 360 can't? Re-read my post, all I said was if its for IV solely get the 360 but if he thinking about lots of games go for which he feels best.

Not sure if there will be a midnight release in the UK like. Im not really that fussed since Im getting the game about 2 months after release date.
Midnight release has never really appealed to me but I think if they do it in the UK it will only be one game shop like GAME or HMV or VIRGIN MEGASTORE that do it.

Yeah I am very used to a PS controller.
The DLC is only two alternate missions (which probably can be seen on youtube) and the size of SA/VC was exaggerrated however if your buying a console solely for IV get the 360 though if you want the DLC etc.
I bought the PS3 because I think its a good console with some good games coming out on it soon and also because it can do other non gaming stuff on it too.
The choice is yours but make it quick because IV is coming out soon.

10 pm GMT great timing, just after Ashes to Ashes finishes.
The hype is certainly getting bigger but I hope theres no gameplay footage in this trailer as it might ruin some of the experience of playig the game first time.

UO is there a 360 map out like? I haven't seen anything recently. I would have thought as well that the PS3 and 360 maps are the same.

How do we actually now this is official?
The in vehicle controls if these controls are right, the controls are going to be good. Having R2 and L2 as the accelerate/brake button might be the only bad point.

This multiplayer has exceeded all my expectations I must admit, the shots look really good, I will probably playing more things online multiplayer than the normal story mode.
