  1. UPDATED on Dec. 22, 2007 This is v1 (the original version) without any mods, patches, or upgrades. NO CHEATS This is a completely legitimate game. Download the latest version, click here This version is currently 13.37% complete up the mission “In The Beginning” Also, C.J. has never been Wasted or Busted. please note, that this is only for the latest version, not the older saved-games that are still listed below. Anything that can be done prior to ALL of the story missions has been completed, and I mean everything, well, short of becoming ‘King of San Andreas’. This was done just to see how many things could be completed immediately after the game began, and before the mission “Big Smoke” This saved-game starts on: Wednesday at 06:30 which is the same day and time that Tenpenny and Pulaski throw C.J. into the alley at the beginning of the game. Technically it actually starts at 6:28, because after the game is first loaded up, there’s 2 seconds of visual fade-in before you can actually see the time display. I did this intentionally by saving the game on a Wednesday at 00:28. The game is saved at the Jefferson Safe house, which is less than 2 blocks from that same alley. I tried to keep Safehouse visits to a minimum; there are 27 total. C.J. has the following: 1) $999,999,999 (I used the Inside Track Betting trick to get it that high - no cheats or mods.) 2) Armor at 150 3) Pilot Ranking of “Ace” 4) Minigun, and all of the best weapons The Minigun, M4, SMG, and Combat Shotgun all have 10,000 + rounds each, so ammo totals don't show. 5) Pilots License has been obtained and he has access to all airports, but he still hasn't taken Flying School yet. 6) Luck at 1000 7) Health increased to maximum: 150 8) Full Muscle 9) C.J. is wearing the white shorts from the Chiliad Challenge, and is marked up with tattoos from both San Fierro and Las Ventures. He also has full muscles. 10) All 6 available Safehouses have been purchased. 11) 4 vehicles for Exports & Imports (for the 1st list) have been stored in the Doherty garage in San Fierro: a Patriot, Stretch, Sanchez, and a Camper 12) Total Respect has increased enough so that C.J. can run a 6-man gang The following side-missions have been completed: 1) Firefighter Mission 2) Paramedic Mission 3) Taxi Mission 4) Pimping Mission 5) Burglary Mission 6) Vigilante Mission 7) The Roboi's Food Mart Courier Mission in Los Santos 8) The Hippy Shopper Courier Mission in San Fierro 9) The Burger Shot Courier Mission in Las Venturas 10) Weapon Skill Levels are all at ‘Hitman’ (I did a lot of shooting - no cheats or mods) Also, the following Challenges have been completed: 1) BMX Challenge 2) Chiliad Challenge, Scotch Bonnet 3) Chiliad Challenge, Birdseye Winder 4) Chiliad Challenge, Cobra Run 5) NRG-500 Challenge And, all of the Stadium Events have been completed: 1) 8-Track 2) Blood Bowl 3) Kickstart 4) Dirt Track In addition to all of that: 1) 100 out of 100 Tags have been sprayed 2) 50 out of 50 Snapshots have been taken 3) 50 out of 50 Oysters have been collected 4) 50 out of 50 Horseshoes have been collected 5) 70 out of 70 Unique Jumps found 6) 69 out of 70 Unique Jumps completed All skills have been maxed out: 1) Flying Skill 2) Bike Skill 3) Cycling Skill 4) Gambling Skill, ‘Whale’ status, he can borrow up to $1,000,000 5) Driving Skill (I did a lot of driving - no cheats or mods) There are no failed missions. The ‘Mission Attempts’ total is higher than the ‘Missions Passed’ total due to missions such as the Chiliad Challenge which offsets both of these totals. Fast Food places are already open, due to a disastrous date with Michelle. The original audio message that C.J. says as he approaches Grove is still there. I used other missions to keep from triggering it. I moved vehicles into the Johnson house garage, and sprayed painted the Gang Tag that’s on the base of the overpass bridge on Grove Street during those missions. All garages contain fast and/or rare vehicles, including a Seasparrow that’s been stored on top of the Mulholland Safe house garage. They were obtained during various Vigilante missions without cheats; Euros, Hotknife, etc. I used the Vigilante trick to get special vehicles to spawn - no cheats or mods. All “i” information icons are still in place. C.J. has the following weapons: 1. Brass Knuckles 2. Knife 3. Desert Eagle 4. SMG (MP5) 5. M4 6. Combat Shotgun 7. Sniper Rifle 8. Minigun 9. Tear Gas 10. Camera 11. Silver Vibrator 12. Parachute Here are other various Stats: Criminal Ranking: OG, 213209 Player: Armor: 150 Pilot Ranking: Ace Times Drowned: 0 Number of Hospital Visits: 0 Total number of Girlfriends: 3 Luck: 1000 Crimes: Times Busted: 0 Achievements: Progress with Michelle 10.00% Progress with Barbara 15.00% Progress with Katie 15.00% Unique Jumps found: 70 out of 70 Unique Jumps done: 69 out of 70 Tags Sprayed: 100 out of 100 Snapshots taken: 50 out of 50 Oyster Collected: 50 out of 50 Horseshoes collected: 50 out of 50 Mission: Mission Attempts: 18 Missions Passed: 15 Misc: Progress Made: 13.37% Safehouse Visits: 27 I wanted to thank OrionSR for letting me know that additional Vigilante Missions would not increase the Mission Attempts total; it helped with this Ultimate Starter game. The older saved games are still available for download, for those who still may want them. However, the newer saved-games are much better. The Stats on the older saved-games are not as good; and those Stats are included in their appropriate .zip folder. Download the latest version, click here Ultimate_Starter_Game.zip Ultimate_Starter_Game___Sept_07.zip
  2. If you’re having problems passing a mission, then simply supply a link where I can download your saved-game from. GTA Save-N-Play is the easiest site for uploading and downloading any GTA:SA saved-game. Be specific in what mission you want completed, list any details that you think are important. Your saved-game can also be uploaded as an attachment on your post, meaning you can actually attach it here on this forum. I would suggest sending your saved-game to a ‘zip’ folder prior to uploading it on this forum, that way you’ll reduce it’s size. (‘zip’ folders don’t work on GTA Save-N-Play) I can complete all version 1, version 2, and version 3 requests. I own Version 1, however, I use a Version 2 conversion program, which allows me to complete both version 2 and version 3 saved-games. (technically, I do own the version 2 DVD of GTA:SA; I bought it after if was released, I just never use it) Please keep in mind that I’m not always on this forum. I have a day job, and can only complete requests during my free time. I never use cheats (but if you do, that's okay with me, I will not use any when I complete your mission), and always get all-Golds in any school. Driving School is the only one school that takes longer than 15 minutes to get all-Golds in; usually between 15 and 30 minutes. Why am I doing this? I just enjoy playing the game.
  3. Bradygames Signature Series Guide for PC and XBox, Odd Jobs Page 126, 2nd column, 1st paragraph: I had originally believed the Bradygames guide when I first read that statement, but that statement contradicts the way gambling is setup in San Andreas. That's all it has to say on the subject of Gambling Luck, and it doesn't say how Gambling Luck has been increased. I also don't believe it anymore. My theory is that the author of the Bradygames guide wrote that statement based on an assumption; meaning he assumed that ‘Luck’ must do something, but since he didn’t know what that ‘something’ was, he just made an educated guess, and now everyone believes it. That’s just my opinion, because if the author had simply stated that 'Luck' increased without any explanation as to what 'Luck' actually was, it would appear that he didn't know what he was talking about, so he fabrited that explanation to give it a reason for being there. Also, “dramatically” implies “by an impressive amount”. That is obviously not the case with gambling in San Andreas, which further proves that the author doesn't know what he was talking about when he wrote that statement. Internet help-guides state that ‘Luck’ will increase Gambling in some way, but they’re never specific on how. They too, seem to be making educated guesses, probably based on the Bradygames guide, that's just a guess on my part. Aside to the obvious fact that the odds should be in your favor, there are no messages stating that your Gambling Luck has increased. Messages appear for most everything, but not Luck, which suggests that it’s just a numerical value based on how many Horseshoes you’ve collected, nothing more. Here are the facts about gambling in San Andreas: 1) Pool: There’s no way that Luck can play any part in that; it’s your skill that determines if you win or not. 2) Low Rider Challenges: Again, this is based on your skill; Luck can’t affect it. 3) ITB: Horse speeds are not affected by Luck, try gambling at an ITB before you have any Luck, then again after your Luck has increased; there’s no difference. I know that’s a weak argument, but for right now, I have nothing better. 4) Black Jack and Video Poker: The cards will progress in the same order for the entire time you’re taking your turn, you can count the cards and eventually know their order, and win every time. The game doesn’t change the face value of the cards to help you win based on your wager. Luck can’t and doesn’t change the order that the cards are dealt. 5) Roulette, Slots, and Wheel of Fortune: I grouped these together because they all follow the same general rule; they’re all based on physical movement of a device. That device cannot change the order that the numbers appear in, nor does the speed of the device increase or decrease to help you win. Luck cannot change any of those factors; therefore it has no effect. Conclusion: The numbers still follow the same order, and the machines still play at the same speed. The only weak argument there, is for the Roulette wheel, but if you watch the numbers as they go by, you’ll see that they follow a similar pattern no matter what level your Luck is at. The Bradygames guide also says: That statement is blatantly wrong, as the casinos are open from the very beginning of the game, and your Gambling Skill can be maxed out before doing any story missions; I proved that myself, without cheats or mods. So you see, statements can be in error. The game itself has never provided any evidence that ‘Luck’ does anything to benefit you.
  4. …because I have: I would have kept on going, but my game froze and I got an error. Also, I made a screen copy for most of my level increases, like the one shown above. NO CHEATS and No Mods were used.
  5. I think you missed the point. This post is for helping people pass missions, not creating videos. Occasionally, I’ll create a video of the mission that I passed for someone, but, as I already said, I don’t do random things in videos. If the videos I’ve already created can’t help you, then I can’t help you. You may want to try and create some videos yourself, or create a new topic and ask someone else to make one for you.
  6. My videos are about specific things that can be done during San Andreas, such as passing missions, schools, unique stunt jumps, etc. If you want to, you can go through my YouTube videos yourself and see if there’s something you like, but my videos are created specifically with some sort of goal, nothing random. If you have something specific in mind, just let me know, and I’ll try to make a video of it. I currently have 67 YouTube videos.
  7. You can use SAMA (San Andreas Mission Analyzer) to figure out what else you need for 100% Game Progress. It works very well, and it's NOT a mod and it's NOT a cheat. Here's the video that I promised you, it's from the actual mission:
  8. Glad to help. My editing program got some sort of error while I was putting the actual video together; it's of the mission itself, C.J. chasing Sweet in the Feltzer. I didn't lose the video, but I had some other things to take care around the home, so I had to put it off. I'll try to have it posted soon, hopefully within the next couple of hours.
  9. Sure thing, I'm doing it right now. End of the Line Mission Passed! http://www.speedyshare.com/723257727.html video uploading, please wait... NO CHEATS were used. Enjoy. GTASAsf1.zip
  10. You'll need to upload it another way, as it looks like GTA Save-and-Play is down. Yon can attach your saved-game as a zip folder directly to your post, or you can use GTA Don's suggestion. Just read through my suggestion for souravnag. Hopefully, GTA Save-and-Play will be working again soon.
  11. You can play basketball at any court in San Andreas, just walk up to the basketball and press the key for 'enter/exit a vehicle' The glitch will supposedly occur when you save your game at Madd Dogg's Crib, basketballs won't appear at the courts anymore, so you can't play. The primary solution is to never save at Madd Dogg's Crib.
  12. congrats on finishing it on your own. I do that right now. Cut Throat Business. Missions Passed! http://gtasnp.com/download/8465 I saved at the Dillimore Safe house because saving at Madd Dogg's Crib will supposedly cause the Basketball Glitch, and Dillimore was the next closest save-location that you had available, as the Mulholland Safe house hasn't been purchased yet. I can try to do some of the race/stadium-events tomorrow, if you want. Just let me know which ones you're having the most difficulty with, and I'll glady help you with them; but I think you'd feel more of a sense of accomplishment if you did them mostly on your own. There are a lot of them. NO CHEATS were used. Enjoy. GTASAsf1.zip
  13. Glad to help. The next game to try is Vice City, it's a great game, but keep in mind that it came out prior to San Andreas, so it's not as big and has less to do. I liked Vice City a lot, except for the music on the radio stations; I just can't stand 80's music. I was a teenager in the 80's, and I couldn't stand that music back when it was new either. Vice City was the only game I had to mod from the very beginning, just so I could play it, the music was just too annoying. I transferred nine of the San Andreas radio stations to my Vice City game. I'll do it as soon as I'm near my computer, later this afternoon; I promise. Saint Mark's Bistro Mission Passed! I picked up a few hundred rounds for the minigun, just to make the mission easier. http://gtasnp.com/download/8438 NO CHEATS were used. Enjoy. GTASAsf1.zip

    GTA: Knight Rider

Great Stuff, especially the ejector seat! Is the letter-type part of the mod, the speedometer and all that?
  18. Glad to Help. Here's everything prior to Los Desperados: http://gtasnp.com/download/8228 and here's everything up to and including Los Desperados: http://gtasnp.com/download/8229 NO CHEATS were used. Enjoy. Riot.zip Los_Desperados.zip

    Help Stuck

I have a topic that's there to help people with Driving School: Driving School: all-Golds Try it out, let me know if it helps or not.
  20. I think you mean Freefall, which I'm doing right now for you. Freefall Mission Passed! http://gtasnp.com/download/8209 NO CHEATS were used. Enjoy. I don't mind someone helping, but I'll still be passing missions for people here on this topic. If you want to help, then there are some specific guidelines that I use on this post that I need for you to follow, the first being that all passed missions must be made public, so that anyone can download them after they've been passed, not just the person who requested help. I have some other quideliones as well, let me post them first before you help anyone. I list those guidelines here later today. Edit: I try and get that list here soon.

    i cant run sa anymore!

Delete the gta_sa.set file. The gta_sa.set file is located in \My Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files. Just delete it, that's all. A new gta_sa.set file will automatically be generated when you start the game. The gta_sa.set file contains your settings, and whenever something is changed on your computer, you usually have to delete that file in order for San Andreas to function again. The gta_sa.set file also contains settings that you cannot alter; those settings are based on your computers previous settings, specifically, the settings you had for your old video card, that's why San Andreas won't launch. You’re trying to launch San Andreas while still using the old file, which won't work.

  24. I have some bad news for now; last night (Saturday), my computer stopped booting up, so I may need to get a new hard drive before I can use it again, which may take a couple of days. In the mean time, I can't complete any save-game requests. I'll update this as soon as my PC is back up and running properly. I'm using a friend's computer to write this post. Sorry, Zoom Okay, my best friend, who’s also an IT expert, was able to fix my computer, so I can complete requests again. Thanks, everyone for all the kind words!
  25. Okay, here it is: End of the Line Progress Made: 100.00% There are only 4 things left to complete: 1. Dating Millie to 100%, a couple of the other girlfriends have dropped to less than 100%. 2. Purchasing all clothing available. 3. Maxing out the dollar amount to $999,999,999 4. Achieving ‘King of San Andreas’ Everything else has been completed or done. http://gtasnp.com/download/8109 NO CHEATS were used. Enjoy. Is that yours or mines that I gave you? That is my own saved-game that I uploaded for you, not yours. Did you still want me to complete your original request? It would take a long while before I could get it done, it still needs those four missions passed as well as several gang territories to be taken over before you have 100.00% Game Progress.
