Well when I wanted to see if my PC runs a game (www.systemrequirementslab.com) it writes at the processor : CPU Minimum :Pentium III or Athlon Equivalent You have 2 processors running -AMD Athlon64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ But at CPU Speed: Minimum:1GHz You have 2.01GHz Performance Rated at 5.70GHz---->what "rated at 5.70 GHz" means sorry 4 off-topic--the game I was trying to see if it works on my pc was GTA SA(minimum)

Hey chris82 ,I have an question:How much it costs 2GB RAM?or 4GB?I want to buy it Lets say a game requires 1GB of RAM & 512VRAM(dunno if it`s possible,If I have 2GB RAM but only 256VRAM graphics card,will that game work normally ?

You`re right it`s useless to buy a PC without 1GBRAM .I`m happy with my Athlon X2 Dual Core 3800+ that I bought in 20 January .Someone told me that Athlons run better the games,movies music than the Intel ,dunno if it`s true.My advice 4 you it`s to buy a powerfull Athlon if you want games So what`s with the 5 stars near the topic title?It`s good or bad?What have I done?

OK,but I beet that 1% of computers have over 1GB of RAM,256VRAM and in 2004 I think more than 15% of PCs had GTA SAs system requirements.I don`t have profes ,I think

I respect you opinion but 2GB of RAM 4 minimum it`s too much.Very few computer have now 2gigsRAM and I don`t think that over night PCs with 2Gigs will be double....even though the game 4 PC will come about 1 year from now (aproximately)If the game will require 2GB of RAM---->512VRAM--->3GHz man a PC like that will be expensive even in 2008 &the sales 4 PC version will be very "low" But maybe you`re right.We`ll have to wait & see.

Ummm.... Considering how it's the format the PS3 uses? I'm pretty sure it would be used for the PS3 version of the game..... BTW, there is a DVD being developed that can work in a BASIC DVD DRIVE that holds so much more than a Blu-Ray disk. So yeah. Each shit, Blu-Ray. Yeah you`re right......I was kiding with the 192RAM graphix card.BTW the game is been in production since 2005-2006 so what`s the posibillity to require 2GB RAM?Maybe they wont make a PC version.BTW Man read the topics title MINIMUM !!! waht part of minimum specs didn`t you guys understand?Stop posting the Recommanded & talking about 2GB.I don`t think it`ll require 2GB minimum......

Sorry 4 double posting Let`s not compare GTA with Raibow Six Vegas.Tom Clancy`s games had always the highest specs (RSV:recommanded specs-CPU Speed:3.5GHz,RAM:2GB,VRAM(graphx card):256).Infact I think Tom`s games winned the world reccord 4 needing HUGE specs .GTA has done the same?Of course NOT!It`s about gameplay not GRAPHICS!

Wow Chris that kind of PC will cost about 3000$ with your recommanded specs (you sad you don`t like to run on minimum specs so I agree but the recomanded specs are HUGE )Who the h... will buy the PC version?if only the 512 graphx card is 1500$ without mentioning the porcessor & the RAM memory.If R* wants to have big sales they`ll make a great game without huge requirements.They`ll sale about 100000 -GTA4s PC version

Let`s say you`re right (80 % chances I think ) GTA SA had 384 RAM (recommended ) and u say i`ll have 1.5 GB that means that GTA 4 will have 4-5X better graphix.BTW I don`t care I`ll upgrade my PC(2GB RAM....) but not 4 GTA only `cuz I want so .& hope i`ll run good

Man this has been said several times but I`m still going to say it : I want injuries ,I want to see the peds skin burning after <<use>> on them the flame thrower,also shoot one leg have a wound,with massive blood .I want blood everywhere when I shoot someones head ,I mean brains everywhere,or just to affect them ,to lose ballance when shooting their legs ,a Head-Shot (reminds me of Counter-Strike )should bring an instant death and you could after killing the person to see the actual holes covered with blood allover the body(not just under the body like in most GTAs)Everything should cause injuries ,What GTA chainsaw massacre is going to be .I think this will bring an AO rating and GTA 4 will be banned in several countries I think I sad this several posts ago but I will repeat it ,if no then here it is : After a mission like go to point A kill X & return back in time you will need to get rid of incriminating evidences (hiding the body& the gun or simply blow the f...k up the entire house,building....I want to get rid of clues that will leed the cops on my tail.If you don`t get rid of evidences Mission Failled or Bad Mission Points 100 After geting rid of clues destroy the car you used to kill X then grab another car & get back to work

Man you forgot that GTA had always low specs .I mean with the specs you just said GTA4 will have a low PC selling `cuz very few people will have this type of PC.BTW they`re working on this game 3 years &There are very few games that require 1,5 GB of RAM Recomanded ,you can count them on your fingers(Splinter Cell DA -I guess- & GTA is always medium so maybe I`ll have to change my specs RAM:1GB VRAM:192 CPU:2.3GHz DVD-yes

They won`t use Blu-Ray 4 GTA IV but maybe GTA 5,6 as you guys sad.But if we`re talking about future GTAs like V or VI why is this topic on the GTA4?BTW A blu-ray is VERY expensive

Matbe you are right but all I was trying to say that if the put needs (such as hunger.......bla..bla-annoying things like this )it should be just a BAR not 10 ,this ain`t The Sims ,and to fullfill the bar all you have to do is save the game and the time will advance with 6 or 8 hours and after this time the Only one needs bar will be full.BTW the program was just an example what will player do in this 6-8 hours and we ain`t gonna see it .also tilly,what about other ideas of mine,you sad number 2 so what do you think of thew rest?
