  1. The very end value of I believe the vehicles.ide datafile handles this exception, with something like this: 0 - Not modifiable 1 - Transfender 2 - Loco Low Co 3 - The other one you unlock with the driving games (Not sure) This order may be screwed up too... I encourage others to correct me... Also, go try Transfender. If you can customize it there, then it's a problem in this value string... - CK P.s. Hope this helps, as it's been like damn near a month since you posted.
  2. Careful... With the addition of the dating crap, Rockstar may just steal this idea from you and make a "have pets" mode... Where you HAVE to go get a dog off the street and feed it, or it runs away and has very little to no effect on the outcome of the game... Though, it would be wicked to have an attack dog for gang wars. > - CK
  3. Okay, so I got import/export figured out... However... I'm having a bit of trouble with wheel placement... I nudged both wheels inward on the model, but it seemed to just move the wheels in one direction... How do I shrink wheel stance? [edit]Nevermind, I figured it out...[/edit] Thanks, - CK

  5. My AVG is picking up a false positive trojan in the SA Garage Edit program too... Though, it's more or less what these programs are, in fact, designed to do... They let you control the game from outside of it. Hence, it's technically a trojan. - CK P.s. Anyone know how to ignore false positives in AVG 8? :\
  6. [Edit] Nevermind, I got it! WOOT! So now I've got a Fawkes mask, and my inner /b/tard is satisfied. I used the Jason Voorhees mod from here, and basically just retextured it. It came out very good, but I have to go in and edit the model itself and close the eyes up. Just doesn't look quite right... Anyway, I got it! Nevermind the /r/... - CK [/edit] [edit] Another edit... I've decided to release it as a reskin, since there's no way in hell I'm paying for Zmodeler, and the 3DS Max import/export script sucks nuts (The successful transfer between GTA .dff and 3DS seems to be a closely guarded secret)... SO!!! If anyone wants to fix the model, they can. Also, reshape the crown to be flat instead of rounded, and the top strap completely removed. This would be perfect... I kinda like the painted over rivets, as they look more like plastic rivets now than Jason Voorhees psycho killer mask rivets. ALSO!!! If anyone would make a protest sign pack that would replace a weapon, that would be INSANELY cool!!! Inscriptions would be like, "/b/lackup has arrived" or "longcat is looooong" or any other meme you choose. Enjoy! - CK P.s. Could someone do me a favor and make a building mod? I need a Church of Scientology... [/edit] Anonymask.rar

    Request:

I suck at modeling... Honestly. :\ Anyway, here's what I'm looking for... 1. 1995 Isuzu Pickup, 2wd model. 2. 1990-1995 Nissan/Toyota/Mazda B2000/etc. little import truck, 2wd models. 3. 1991 Isuzu Impulse RS Any one of those would be GREATLY appreciated. So, if you're bored or out of ideas and wanna model something, you can always try the Isuzu pickup or impulse. Quick edit: PICS!!! 1995 Isuzu Pickup: ^^Older front end. Notes: 1. Front valence (thing that hangs off the front bumper) should be color-matched with the body. 2. Remember the little smoky windows on the doors... 3. You don't need to add Isuzu logos... 4. That body line has some F'D up angles... It may be tough to get it kinda right. Also, the taillights dip into the body line a little... About to the end of the top plane... 5. If you need more pictures (interior), I'd be more than happy to supply them. 1991 Impulse RS: (1 of 800) ^^ The dash usually isn't fuzzy... Notes: 1. Should include the "All Wheel Drive/Intercooled Turbo" on the back, along with the "RS" sticker, south of the driver's side taillight. 2. Use the wheels pictured on the red one, brushed aluminum look (not chrome) 3. The door handles are on the inside of that little dent right behind the door. You pull them UP, not OUT... 4. If you need more pictures (interior), I'd be more than happy to supply them. Thanks, - CK
  8. Also, a '68-'72 Chevy C10 2wd pickup, hopefully with some neat 5-spokes... Also maybe like a '93 Dakota extended cab 2wd?
  9. Ah that's it. :\ Well that kinda sucks... Maybe the creator will give me permission and an unlocked version... - CK
  10. Halp! The wheels on this S10 are driving me crazy! :'( Some models open perfectly fine, but others say "non-standard model!" What am I doing wrong? Thanks, - CK
  11. Got it working... Now I got another problem... "This is a non standard model." - CK
  12. There really are no tutorials for this... What all is needed to open a .dff with 3DS Max? Thanks, - CK

    Question:

Is there a way to get wheels to move inward or outward without having to edit the model? If so, how? Thanks, - CK
  14. Here are some to find... 1. Isuzu Pickup, 1983-1995 (NOT HOMBRE 1997-2000) 2. Nissan Hardbody Pickup 1989-1995 abouts 3. Toyota Pickup, 1980's-1995 abouts 4. Datsun Pickup 1970's-1980's abouts... 5. Isuzu Impulse, 1983-1993 6. Dodge Omni, 1980's, 4dr hatchback. Good luck... - CK
  15. So I know how to build a car in ZModeler, I know how to skin, I know how to edit scripts... What I don't know is how to convert from ZModeler format to GTA format and vice versa... How do I get existing vehicles into Z3D? How do I get stuff I built in Z3D into GTA? It seems that this step is missing in tutorials. Any and all help will be immensely appreciated!!! Thanks, - CK
  16. Oh NEAT!!!! So THAT'S how you get it into Low Co! Does that also determine whether or not you can use it in the lowrider meet and races? - CK
  17. FOUND IT!!!!! :D :D The parameter that allows/disallows wheel changes... It's not in the handling hex, it's not in the carmods parameters... It's in Vehicles.ide... You scroll down the list and see a nondescript column reading 0's and -1's... That's the parameter to change. 0 = wheel change -1 = no wheel change WOO HOO!!!! Now I'm gonna screw with the ride height a little so that you can roll around all dropped like a bastard, and then hit the "hydraulics" and drop it to the pavement, true minitruck style, bitches!!! - CK
  18. I tried a ton of different combinations in the carmods.dat file... And what gets me is that there are a few cars with the lines "nto_b_l, nto_b_s, nto_b_tw," that allow for wheel changes... But when it's on the Yosemite's line, all I get is color, nitro, stereo, and hydraulics... Also, in the hex coding in the handling.dat, I've set it as a lowrider, and even put the carmods line in with the lowriders, and still zilch. There's gotta be something simple I'm overlooking. - CK
  19. EXACTLY! I got the shops to allow me to add hydraulics, color, nitro, and bass boost, but I just can't figure out how to get it to allow me to add wheels! Thanks, - CK
  20. I went with this 1985 GMC Sierra pickup for the "mini truck" for now. Hopefully, I'll end up building some different body models... Isuzu, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda... So far, I've got the suspension travel ironed out, then I took on carmods.dat and got "hydraulics" on it (more like bags, so it worked out GREAT! )... Now, I need to figure out how the EPH to get GTA to let me put different wheels on it. After that, I'll start messing with the model itself, original creator willing. Anyway, my question is, How do I get TransFender/Loco Low Co to allow me to put different wheels on the Yosemite, and also for the lowrider meet to acknowledge that it's a lowrider... :\ Thanks, - CK
  21. The rules say absolutely nothing of the sort. The rule is to keep people from discussing torrents and file sharing... Not that you can't use your own back-up. Illegally obtained .iso images = warez. .iso images you made yourself off of your own legitimate copy of the game = backup. Huge difference. I only included the .iso information because I didn't know if my copy had been corrupted somehow or anything. I'm glad it isn't, because it's my only backup CD for SA. A rule that was misread, plain and simple. Either way, I'm sure this exact scenario wasn't thought of when they put the "no warez" rule up... - CK
  22. Nevermind. A different board helped me. Apparently, my dual-core processor is causing all this havoc. So, there's a stabilizer program that I downloaded... For anyone suffering a similar problem, I've supplied the link down closer to the bottom. Search tags: too fast, dual, core, dual-core, AMD, warpspeed, warp, speed, too fast, clock, holy sh*t, fix, bug, Grand Theft Auto: Benny Hill Thanks for yelling at me for almost maybe breaking no rules! Really appreciate all the help the German board gave me. (Use Altavista.com's Babelfish page translator German-English if you don't speak German) Link: http://www.piranha-games.de/include.php?pa...c3a3723991a956d (NOTICE: LINK POSTED ONLY FOR REFERENCE! DON'T GET PISSY AND DELETE IT FOR SOME BOGUS REASON.) Thanks, - CK
  23. "Discussion about illegally obtaining" I might point out. Meaning if I came on asking what the best torrent for the game was... I made the iso myself, from my own CD, and it says nothing about using your own back-up disc in the rules. Please help. I feel like I'm stuck in a Benny Hill movie! - CK
