Zeraek Posted June 8, 2007 Share Posted June 8, 2007 is it possible to make a new island in San fierro bay. i want it to be a like a very steep mountain only accesable by plane, but i dunno how to mod it. the ting i want really is a large mountain too steep to climb that gets snowy at the cloud level, with a small snow forest at the top. can n e 1 help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Urbanoutlaw Posted June 9, 2007 Share Posted June 9, 2007 Try the download section, GTA SA & look under maps & on other sites as well. I know there are some Island mods floating around. These are usually done by editing the .IPL files in your DATA/MAPS folder. If you're comfortable w/ data edits you can play around a little with some of these mode. STEP 1 - BACKUP EVERY FILE YOU PLAN TO EDIT!!! The simplest way is to open them w/ wordpad, but there are also IPL editing tools out there. Good Luck. I know you're confused with such tech stuff, but if you want to mod it, you really need to ask the experts first before messing up your game.
