killa killer
i watched the 2nd traler today and during the fire fight when he's in the car, it gets shot in the windscreen and indervidual bullet holes apear. what do you guy think is, 4 or 5 bullet holes coming up when you shoot the windscreen just gonna be like the other gtas' and just be a change in texture or do you think the holes are only gonna come up where you shoot it? Chris
See our screen captures page. It'll be just like Saints Row, the bullet hole will appear right where it was shot. And that same smash texture will appear.
surrealistic ArtSweet
yeah, it is pretty cool, they've changed and improved so much details really? saints row had those? i never realized
Chris
If I remember correctly yes it did. I haven't played it for ages though, so I could be thinking of another game.
The Bossman
If you shoot a bullet into each of the windshield's corners, would it shatter realistically or would it just stay as it is? If Resistance Fall of Man had this feature, surely GTA has to have it? Edited June 30, 2007 by the bossman
QuickDeath
Actually looks like the textures differ:
Chris
Hmm yeah. Well that's good. It's probably like about 5 textures, and when a bullet hits you get a random one appearing. Pretty nice effect.
fatalgamer
Yeah, the smallest things can make the biggest differences. A step closer to realism. R* is geniuse.
