Some help please.

So, I have some problems at my SA. I uninstalled it because whenever I was going in, was crashing. And I did not installed any mods. So, when I started to install it, at half of the installation procces it stops and an error appears and the installation window closes. Here is the error:

Feature: GTA SA Game Data

Component: audio

File: E:\data2.cab

Error: Data error.

This means that data2.cab is damaged.Check the cd for scratches or something like that.

Hell yes, re-installing after so much time also gave me the same problem, same data2.cab;

but how is it that both of us have the same file damaged on the disc?

So, if I found some scratches or something like this, what should I do? Any suggestions?

I had that for Vice City It used to come up as "Ambisil.mp3" but now it comes up with "data3.cab". It was not fixable for me.

I would just buy a new Copy. I did and I played Vice City Again.

For a scratched disc, look for a device called "Disc Doctor" or similar.
