warrior_juggalo
I worked it out. Can you get into SA as well as LC and VC in GTA United somehow?

GTA Don
Which OS are you running? I think Vista backs up the files or something. Or it could be that mod back-up tool, just uninstall that.
Deji
nonono! ^ it's because san andreas leaves your custom files behind (as they may be important) after uninstalling, delete all your files (your savegames if you really want to) you will have to delete: models, data, movies, audio and any other san andreas folders i forgot about. then install. Do_Not_Fear_cause_I'm_here
Re-install your SA. Make sure that when you un-install it, you check the box that says,''Delete the whole entire history of SA?'' Something like that.
Urbanoutlaw
Deji is on the right track. Windows can be a little lazy & after you un-install & you need to defreg your hard drive to permanently get rid of the old files. I ran into that one myself & when I recognized my hacks to some of the DATA files. I un-installed again & defregged. When I re-installed this time I had a clean install. good luck. Do_Not_Fear_cause_I'm_here
I was ABOUT to say that but nvm. Didn't think it would be a right answer but it is. Thanks for the backup.
Deji
well that's not exactly what i meant ^ the san andreas installation wizard is made to not delete your files. if you change a file it is considered 'yours' and it can't overwrite it. just delete the files and then install.
