It's a glitch that happens when a player that has Version 1 of the game uses the Version 2 main.scm & script.img files. All you said was that you're experiencing a problem, so switching the scripts won't do anything if you're the only one that had access to your saved-games. John's (JAJ) recommendation only applies when the saved-game switches between different versions. Have you tried PrivateSniper's idea, and reinstalled yet?
