Do_Not_Fear_cause_I'm_here
Try to re-install your game. And then, always downgrade your game before installing a mod. Whenever you load the game now, it wont crash.

mutu
Re-install your game, and use the downgrader before you install the mods. I will advise you to use SAMP so it's easy to remove if you don't like it. But if you want to make it manually you always need to backup your files. Metal=yes
okay, so heres the problem, im still having it too...but i installed the game, i downgraded it, but everytime i try one of those "100% completion" things, the game freezes, then thats where the error message comes in.... i dont want to play through the game again cause i did it on the PS2, and i only bought the computer version to try my shot at modding.... what do i do? GTA Don
I think you'll need a v1 main.scm or something. Here's one, not sure if it's vor version 1 though.

Do_Not_Fear_cause_I'm_here
Go to youtube and search on how to use it. I don't mod my game anymore. I never used San Andreas Mod Installer.
Damjan
SAMI is a piece of crap.I install a mod and the car i replaced didn't show up.I used IMG Tool and it showed. It's best to put the mods manually with IMG Tool than automatically with SAMI. mutu
I think I might now a way to fix it. Re-install the game but not downgrade it, because the save-game might be a v2. (If you bought the game recently it's probably v2.) If you do so, you will not be able to have any mods installed in the game. If you want mods you will have to downgrade the game to v1. Then you can use SAMI, I use that for most parts because I mean it's simple. You just download it, install it and the run it. When you install manually it's a bit more work. Then you will have to open the mods with WinRar probably. And you have to get IMG tool...
tilly
And if you want a 100 percent game, just get a 100 percent game save. Its not a mod, so you cant have any problems with it unless its a corrupted file.
