Spaz The Great
Yeah, later on, the cop changed his story to "APPEARED to smoke his rear tires". Regardless, fish-tailing in a FWD? Does that happen often? I'm rather certain what you can do in a FWD isn't exactly "fish tailing".
Urbanoutlaw
Take a fast turn & goose the parking brake, yeah you can cut the rear end loose on a FWD.
Playstation_Loyalist
Chevy pwnz. While Chevrolet hits the "green" (fuel-efficient, nature-friendly) car club, Ford still uses the rust bucket style of motoring (concerning the environment). Equinox pwnz the Expedition, F-150 and all other Ford SUV's. Ford= God Gas Guzzler.
Vinny
What does this have to do with GTA?
Spaz The Great
Take a fast turn & goose the parking brake, yeah you can cut the rear end loose on a FWD. Not fish-tailing, though. Fish tailing actually requires the back tires to be going faster than the car. What does this have to do with GTA? Nothing. This is why it isn't in a GTA section. Why do people come in non-GTA sections and ask these questions?
Mpilk901
Chevrolet for me. However I don't know much about cars so I'm going on purely the looks and my own experience. Besides, how can you resist this? I'd kill for one of those. Edit: Votes are equal now, both have 10 votes. Urbanoutlaw
Nice choice. This one kind of breaks my heart, I've been watching the stocks & bought some Ford when all this "Bailout" stuff started at $1.30 a share (dirt cheap). Today it's at $5.00 & climbing. When it started Ford wanted a line of credit instead of cash, they had a cash reserve & they're moving ahead on a few things that should pull them through the currant "crisis". On the other side I bought some GM at $2.75 (WTF!?). It was an all time low & they were in trouble, but I remember Chrysler being in the same spot when the '80s started & they came back. GM has 30 hybrid models & was about to start production of the Chevy Volt, a hybrid that could go about 40 miles before the gas engine kicked in & designed as a "plug-in" that could recharge of your house's outlets. Since then Obama fires CEO Rick Wagner (w/ GM for 5+ years, a long time for a Detroit CEO) under who's direction GM started building the clean economical cars THE US GOVERNMENT WANTS US TO DRIVE!!! Latest word on the Volt is DOA because of the projected price of $30k. Today GM lists at $1.60. I want my Fords win, but not like this.

May as well say that I can't believe Obama is trying to make us a Socialist country, and your GM story proves it. Also I would like to say that I am VERY proud of Ford for being the only company that didn't ask for a bailout.
Urbanoutlaw
I consider the following on-topic as GM is the parent company of Chevy, any action affecting GM will in turn affect Chevy. Ford caught a huge break, they went into the bailout mess w/ an $8 billion cash reserve. They also had more luck in their union headaches. I think they're going to make it between truck sales, fleet (only) sales of the Crown Vic & the upcoming return of the Fiesta to the US. Flex-fuel & hybrids help. News at GM just keeps getting better. They got some cash (I think $15 billion) but it came w/ a June 1st deadline to restructure. Last word, they still had union problems. The US government now owns about half of GM. Besides killing Pontiac, GM is giving up 43% of it's dealerships, shutting down 1/3 of it's factories & letting go of about 1/3 of it's workforce. RUMOR has it the upcoming Volt (Chevy's new plug-in hybrid) is canceled. The Volt is Chevy's Prius killer, designed to go 40 miles just on batteries before the gas engine kicks in. Currant hybrids go 1-2 miles. http://www.chevrolet.com/electriccar/ I expect next year's Silverado to be a Smart Car w/ a kid's Radio Flyer screwed to the back of it. The Camaro will have a WRX wing in place of the wagon. These will probably be assembled in China or India. As of today, Ford is trading @ $5.40 a share, GM is $1.80.
