Thats all I can think of. he has sound just only for sound effects and not cutscenes n stuff... hm ok, you could try reinstall your game. if it still wont work then i dunno. Try lowering your Sound Acceleration, if you're on XP you may have to use dxdiag, if Vista, I don't know as I don't use/lower Sound acceleration.
