little_homer
So im in a need of a new computer and heard theres a site called tigerdirect. I searched for a while and there were many cheap gaming computers but not in my price range -600e Then i found this. The specs look good from what i heard... But why is it so cheap? And what does the barebone mean? And does tigerdirect ship to Finland?
Damjan
No, tigerdirect and newegg only ship to USA. And all the other US sites i think. It's cheap because there's no GFX card, that's barebone.(if one part or more is missing.) Edited July 23, 2009 by Sтεαм.

GTA Don
No, tigerdirect and newegg only ship to USA.And all the other US sites i think. It's cheap because there's no GFX card, that's barebone.(if one part or more is missing.) TigerDirect ship worldwide, the only problem is that is quite expensive to do so. You'd be looking at maybe another 100$.
EvoLuTioN
Barebone are computer kits with just the cabinet, motherboard and processor (depends on the kit) Something like a starter kit. Its good if you want to configure it to your needs, add a gpu of your choice, water cooling etc. That's why they are cheaper. The kit you have there only has the Cabinet, motherboard(with on-board graphics), processor, ram and hard drive. You'll have to get a graphics card and optical drive if you want a mid-end gaming setup.

Damjan
I would, but then you wouldn't be able to buy it unless you go to the US. Do you have any family(cousins friends etc.) that can buy it for you, then you can send them their cash back by mail? Anyways, either this or this. Pretty cheap if you ask me.
