Damjan Posted October 11, 2009 Share Posted October 11, 2009 Whenever Windows 7 boots up, the speakers have the red X on them, and don't work.I have to reinsert the cable everytime. WRX22B1998 Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 i had a quick look through those, most are saying to reinstall the driver. but some people said not even that helps them, and it's just a issue with windows 7. what you could do, is make a batch file that runs on startup (put it in the startup folder), and it stops and starts the windows audio service, like this. echo off net stop audiosrv net start audiosrv exit Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
