amazingdude
What generally do you play on? PSP / Xbox 360 / PC / PS 2 / PS 3?
TUN3R
PC. I occasionally play on friend's consoles (360, PS3, Wii, and an EyeFone if that counts) just to have a reason to bash the crappy exclusives they have... Forza 4 sucks balls.

rockstarrem
I currently need to use my Xbox 360 for modern games because my computer is not suited for any type of new types of games. I still play Counter-Strike: Source, Max Payne, Max Payne 2, and GTA on the PC occasionally since those types of games it can handle. But for newer games like GTA IV and such I need to use my Xbox for right now, although I prefer using PC controls. I do love Xbox Live though, I think it's a great feature. And I do think the Xbox is a great console (not saying the other consoles are bad, I have a Wii and love it and if I could afford a PS3 I would definitely buy it). rockstarrem
Well, it's kind of weird. My desktop runs better with most games, even though my laptop has better specs... Desktop: Intel Core 2 Duo 6400 @ 2.13ghz 2GB RAM ATi Radeon x1300 Pretty sure that's all you need to know for this question... if you want more info ask, but yeah, it's pretty outdated. amazingdude
You sure can run GTA IV in those specs
rockstarrem
Trust me, I surely can't. I find it strange that people assume that these specs are pretty good (I mean back when I even got the PC), the first thing I did when I bought the PC was install Halo 2 and that didn't run without major lag even at lowest settings. amazingdude
Hmmm....sounds odd o.O i think you should try to install a 9 series NVIDIA that sure will as it has 512 mb - 1.2 gigs high memory and may be you should upgrade the ram to 4GB, will cost you more though. TUN3R
The GPU is fail. Won't run GTA IV unless you hack it to use no shader at all...
amazingdude
But he has core 2 duo and 2GB ram and a good 2.13ghz that means he has the min requirements for gta IV
TUN3R
But he has core 2 duo and 2GB ram and a good 2.13ghz that means he has the min requirements for gta IV I ran GTA IV on a Pentium 4 and 768 MB RAM. It doesn't matter. The GPU will tell you if you can or can't run a game, the rest only influence how well you'll run it... And FYI a Core Duo and 2GB RAM will run GTA IV at 5 - 20 FPS with the graphics to minimum AT BEST.
amazingdude
5-20 FPS only?

Microsoft paid people to build that console for them, which is why it was so reliable.. But the 360 microsoft made themselves which is the reason it suffered from red rings so bad.. Seriously, the xbox 360 Slim thats out now, is what the 360 should of been in the first place.
