tommy vercetti guy
So yea, I came home from school yesturday and was going to go on the PC and kick some ass on Counter Strike. So I sit on my spinning chair and press the power button and turn on the monitor, nothing appears on the monitor. I press the power button again, nothing on monitor. My PC is ####ed up. Right now im on some crappy eBay PC I got. Btw, dont buy anything from eBay. I should be back for all of you to worship a hile later with my PC back and functional. Righty
Does windows come up at all? Do any fans turn on? Or do you know what's wrong with it?

Gerard
1) Is it plugged in, and turned on? There's sometimes a switch next to the fan on the back that stops it turning on, double check that. 2) Have you been fiddling around with its insides recently? If you have you'll need to check that everything is in place, and try turning it on with a screwdriver (connect the two power pins) but ONLY if you actually know how. Righty
First thing I'd check is the obvious, is it plugged in, is the power strip on, is the switch on like Xenon said. After that, I'd get to seeing if any of the innards went and came disconnected.

Oskar
Did you shuffle the mouse at the beginning? When I switch my LCD Monitor it says No Signal then i shuffle the mouse and it starts properly.
Sanguini
Hmm. It'd be a lot easier if I could tell you to check your 20-(or 24-)pin motherboard power plug and make sure it's inserted and clicked in, but that might confuse you. So give it a good whack. Yes, I mean it. It's worked for me before. "Before" being "once", but still...
