  2. Hehehe, good job... Dazzabar...Genius
  3. Do they actually fire in tandem, or is the second one just for show?
  4. Ok, there are certain variables which may change with downloaded vehicles... The hummer skin might be carcoled or have a bodymap The Former: Open your carcols.dat and edit it, it isn't too hard to under stand, just look through and it shouldn't be too hard The Latter: Open up the TXD with TXD Workshop and extract the bodymap. Open it up with some program like Photoshop, and change its Hue/Satuaration to make it blue. Put it back in the TXD and then into the img! To make it go faster you need to change the handling.cfg, I'm pretty sure there are some tools out there that do this for you. If not, the handling.cfg is well documented and aslong as you read everything, it shouldn't be too hard to understand There might be a way to make cars invincible with GTA3 Admin Console....Do a quick google search handling.cfg and carcols.dat both open with notepad by the way
  5. He extracted every individual radar file from the IMG (There is like...63 files) He then opened Photoshop, and one by one, pieced them together on a blank canvas It's very time consuming, especially when you try SA (123 files)
  6. I'm guessing you need the NET framework update thingymabob? NET Framework 1.1 NET Framework 2.0
  7. He can climb telephone poles so it's likely we can climb ladders
  8. And if you bothered to look at the source inside lcs-vcs-unimg.zip, you'd have known this fact well over a month ago.. I guess the terminology you want to use there is that the files in the img are "aligned to 2KB boundaries". ------ Anyway, I managed to write up a small update to that unimg program which now works with the compressed lvz files as well. However, it seems that the lvz files and its counterpart img only seem to store "world" related data. I'm guessing this is huge chunk of ipl/ide/mdl/tex mashed up together instead of using distinct mdl/tex files. The only tex files I was able to extract out of these were radar files. Booooo! Also got basic unswizzling done for PS2 images in lcstex. Unfortunately, it only works for 8bit textures, not 4bit.. hmmf. It should also work properly with PSP 4bit textures, and also supports VCS textures (though its called LCStex ). Don't forget to select PSP or PS2 when opening up the texture file. Just posting the binaries for now. Will post source later when I get a chance to tidy it up... a bit busy with SA:MP stuff atm. - Updated lcs-vcs-unimg - Updated lcstex From GTAF...
  9. Well we see at the end he Who knows if the Vibrator perished?...
  10. Wait, I did make them and some how put them onto the LCS disk even though there is no way to edit read only disks. You found me out! /sarcasm Unless you have connections Anyway, great job on finding these!
  11. Wrong, in both PSP AND PS2 versions you can get it (Without cheats). I can't explain the details, but in PSP, since garages restore cars, you can just blow up the heli and push it to your garage PS2 version requires some tricky work though...
  12. Mine would be a tie between Los Santos and San Fierro I like LS as it seems the best designed and thought out city out of them all, and the ghetto is pretty cool too (Drainage too!) I like SF for it's tight city life and long stretches of road, without getting onto a freeway LV is my least favourite city, just doesn't really appeal to me
  13. Faggio is a good bike for getting through tight streets and backalleys, although it ain't the fastest bike Isn't it the HPV-1000 By the way?... Anyway I chose the NRG-500, fast bike
  14. Got any source to back up this claim? I think it's just for the storyline, I mean, it MAY happen, but for the most part I just think it's for the story
  15. I don't think you have to reset your PS2/PSP, for me all I had to do was reload, less time consuming
  16. Glad you guys like it Now if only I can remember how I did it, I could write up a NOS tut
  17. Well, like my spraycan tut, this is alittle old, but hopefully soon I will write a NOS tut so you can do it yourself Below are two versions, Normal Version and Alternate Version --- Normal Version--- Changes the NOS to green and the spraycan's spray to blue Pictures Download ---Alternate Version--- Changes the NOS to purple and the spraycan's spray to orange Pictures Download Enjoy! I will upload it on The GTA Place when they allow people to upload mods
  18. Rapelling off the sides of buildings would be fun nice to have Would make some interesting missions using it too
  19. Was pretty good, although some of the video effects seemed unnecessary, and detracted from the overall experience (For me atleast) Great Job though!
  20. Thanks, but I don't think black works, don't know why though I'm planning to write a NOS Colour Changing tutoial soon
  21. And you could port the weapons to VC/SA Yeh it's a shame, but hopefully they might port it at a later date Until then I'm getting it on PS2 (ASAP before it gets banned again)
  22. Thanks for the welcome GTAPlayer Gycu: I don't think I've seen you on GTAF :/ Link to a post?
  23. Hello everyone, joined today, after Jared told me to a couple of months ago I'm blackadder18 from GTAF if anyone from there is on here, Sorta leaving it though....
  24. For anyone that wanted to change the spraycan colour but couldn't now you can! To change your spraycan colour go to GTA San Andreas/models folder. Then Open your effects.fxp with notepad. Then Search for ¡Spraycan¢ and you should see this Then search for red. You should find something like this The bits with the red box around them are the bits you want to change. So change the VAL: in Red Green and Blue. If you don't know the RGB of the colour you want then go to MS Paint and look at the picture below Then Edit your RGB accordingly in effects.fxp Now save the effects.fxp and fire up San Andreas. If you did everything right it should be the colour you picked. Good luck! This is an old tutorial, if anyone is having trouble reading it, just say so and I'll make a new version
  25. 9/10 Great City, pretty good characters, although some bits of the storyline are not the best Would recommend it though
