  1. That's stupid. I think you should have some variation but still get rid of the clustering.
  2. ^ but we didn't really have chance to experience gameplay within it. There was a cutscene and a 10 - second (if that ) shootout that should've been over in a flash, provided you're not bent. LCS had proper snow gameplay, in the car sales missions... That is very true. We were not able to experience it, just see a cut scene with it. I was deeply suprised they put such a mission in there. And the fact that it was snowing is awsome to, though we did'nt experience it. I mean come on flying from one city to another, that's cool. I think they should do that in another upcoming GTA game. Make more than one city availible. Like the new Liberty City, as well as updated versions of all the other GTA cities wrapped into one awsome game. Now tell me that would'nt be awsome. Each city with thier own climates that gradually change as you travled from one to the next. That would be fantastic! It would be like a whole other small world of it's own. Also I never played the mission with the snow in LCS. I need to check that out. Can you actually go around the whole city with it snowing? How long will it stay snowy?
  3. See, I'm right, GTA SA and GTA LCS took place around the same time. That explains why the bycicle have been banned.
  4. I dunno about getting bad ratings just for clustering but it deffinetly does'nt help matters any. I'm sure it will have plenty of cool ass cars to play with and no clustering. Atleast that is what I'm hoping for.
  5. that's to bad. so i need to have it on pc? thank u even thoughi'm not new here, or are u?
  6. Indeed it would badass if they put in all the seasons. Winter itself would be a visual marval, but just think if they put them all in there. It would be great if seasons would constantly change, not just because the story makes it do so. But the question is not "Will they" or "Can they" it's more like "Do have the time and the patiants". After all there is only , roughly, 5 months left to construct and produce the game. And if they'll spend a whole half a day to make a cigarette light correctly, just think how long they work to get snow just perfect.
  7. I was wondering if it was possible to some how mod GTA SA on xbox?
  8. Very cool. That's really reassuring. I was just saying if they wanna make it realistic the clustering needs to go.
  9. Clustering means there is a "cluster" of the same pedestrians or cars or other objects in the environment that are randomly placed. As I play GTA SA I look around for some cool cars to drive but all I see is taxis, police cruisers, and the same old broke down hoopty I've been seeing for the last five minutes. No one else finds that annoying besides me?
  10. I don't know if there will be bikes or bycicles. If you have played LCS you will know that by the time GTA III came around bikes had been banned(due to the fact they were so dangerous and the people who ride them would just pass up traffic). In the time of GTA SA and GTA LCS (which both games take place at the same time) the city officials where working to ban them at that time. Also they had already banned bycicles in Liberty City at that time. Since GTA IV is gonna take place after GTA III then I think they will not be there. Though I hope there will by bikes and bycicles so much.
  11. First off I think they absolutly should put snow in GTA IV. Yes, R* has done snow before. Think not? Have you played BULLY? Great game by the way. So if you have played BULLY then you know that RAGE is capable of snow. BULLY was on PS2 mind you, and the snow looks awsome with great physics effect on part of the snow. Anyways, if they can do snow in a game like that and make it look so well then they are more than capable of making it snow in GTA IV. I mean, come on the power of a Playstation 2 versus the power of an XBOX 360. PS2 has the power to fit as large a world as San Andreas and 360 does'nt? I think not. The 360 has the power to fit a world 10x larger with realistic graphics and snow and all of the other bells and wisels you wanna add on. So yes they are more than capable, but that does'nt mean I'm saying that there will be snow in GTA IV, I'm just sayin R* can and in my opinion should. Then again there is the matter of time. 5 months or so from launch. Yes that is a while off, but i'm sure they have alot of other things to worry about besides weather, and then there is production proccess and so on. R* has always been able to capture the mood of the time an place they set in there games. For instance BULLY and The Warriors practically bleed mood (two of my favorite games by the way). And as we all know the weather in a game is a big part of the mood. Either way you can garantee that R* will not dissapoint.
  12. Yeah I heard about that too. I just thought it was gettin close to deadline. But infact when it's put in scope it's a while away still. I just have always saw clustering to be a sizable flaw and frankly annoying. I hope it's fixed in the final product. After all this GTA is supposed to be more realistic, and you don't see ten of the same cars traveling down the same street at the same time in real life.
  13. As a GTA fanboy I am always looking at new screen shots as they are released. But anyways I was looking at some of these newer screenshots and saw there was a cluster of a few of the same cars. This makes me wonder will GTA IV still have some of the same clustering problems. Like clusters of the same people and cars and so on. Here's what I mean.
  14. Using an NRG500, preferably, fastest bike... Get speed by tapping forward during the runup... That's all. Tapping?! Rapidly or what? I'll take any of the help I can get.
  15. I need some help with an insane stunt in San Andreas. I just can't get the damn thing. Think you can help me with it? And from now on this can be the insane stunt help line that every one uses to get assistance on that they can get just right. I need help with this one. Recognize it?
  16. Oh man this is stupid I'm sorry. I don't wanna have this arguement any more. I did'nt mean to start flame bait. I wanna be on good terms with every one on this forum. Your right and I'm wrong. PCs are dominant (sorry for the miss spellege) Sorry man. I wanna build my own PC one day and I might try out a few game on it.
  17. I think not. The hammer maybe, but you probably, you won't be able to pickup a board or drill machine. It's just for show.
  18. When the hell did I say I had facts. Plus there is no support behing you so called "facts". I guess PCs can upgrade but still, ask any game designer and he/she will say that next-gen console are meeting the bench mark of any PC. And who cares about ~"RAMS"~ Here is some facts for you: GTA Vice City sold 13 million copies on PS2 and Xbox. At a latter time it came to PC, selling only about 15 thousand. These stats clearly states that the PC version sucks. If you can't even like a GTA game on PC then IT SUCKS! If a PC is such an ultimate game machine, then why don't the same amount of people who own PS3s,XBOX 360s and Wiis own a PCs as well. Case and point my friend. You can check this on ask.com. Just type in "how many copies of gta vice city were sold" Now if you will excuse me I most watch "Encino Man" Buuuddyyy!
  19. I think the graphics of the next-gen consoles are meeting the bench mark that the PC sets and, with in the next two yaers, will serpass them by a graet deal. I think this is because the game makers are just now hendering power of these machines and will one day soon, fully utilize it. You're an idiot, sir. PCs will ALWAYS be ahead. Why? They can be UPGRADED. The video cards out for PCs are more than double that of what the PS3 and 360 are running. Both systems were below what a PC can do BEFORE THEY WERE RELEASED. Hey, I liked you, thought you were a good guy but you call me an idiot. I don't come shitin all over you ideas now do I. Here's my point. the 360 has the power if not more power than a PC at this point. Sure they can upgrade but the 360 is all about how you utilize it's tech. If you do it right, then you will make a game better than any PC game ever made or that will ever be made. Plus next-gen consoles are just as upgradeable as a PC. Hell they practically are PCs at this point. No sir, you're wrong. Yes, ALL consoles are PCs. TONED DOWN PCs. Right now, as we speak, no console can touch a high-end PC. It's just that simple. The 360 doesn't have more power than a pc. My computer is running 2GBs of RAM, what's the 360 running in terms of RAM? No where near. Case proven with that alone. I have a 200GB HDD with a second 200HDD I need to install((I'm a procrastinator)), how big is the 360 HDD? Exactly. Case proven, again. What about the GPU of these two systems? It's already been said that the PS3 GPU is outdated in terms of the COMPANY THAT MADE IT, so it can be expected the same goes for the 360. They have 512MB GPUs out FOR GAMING.... Neither the PS3 nor 360 is running that. So where's your proof of your claims? Oh, yeah, you have none. Consoles are not upgradeable. You can't buy a stick a RAM, open your PS3, and stick it in there. Sorry, doesn't work that way. Are you telling me if you decided that Cell processor wasn't enough for you anymore you could go buy a better one and stick it in there? RIIIIIIGHT. I believe you. Entirely. Maybe so BUT! The PC is a dying in terms of gameing, slowly but surely. There are no good games for the PC and the few there are don't utilize it's full power. Sure you can have a huge game world in a PC game but. The PC games physics suck, the games suck, the controls (via keyboard) blow.
  20. That would be a pretty bad marketing plan. They announce them early so that fans would get excited about it so that by the time the game was released, they already knew they were going to buy it. Ok how about 3 month before launch that's plenty of time for fans to hear all the info and get hyped up and pre-order it. So true. Plus it's just cool to walk up next to the counter and just ask for your cop, that you already paid for, and just skip pass the whole line and get home fast to play the game you just got.
  21. It's either Tommy or just some random guy enjoying a good time out on the water in a nice speed boat.
  22. HAHAHAHA! I think that was a Kitana my friend. And yes like a switch blade would be cool to like mug people and hold up stores and what not.
  23. Not so many crazy weapons like rocket launchers and huge machine guns. That stuff is not realistic, as fun as they may be, I just don't think it fits. Just save em' for another game. Maybe more hand guns. I would wanna see: 38. Special Deasert Eagle 45. Colt 9. mm Sniper Rifles (cross hairs,no laser scope) 12. Gauge pump shotgun 12. Gauge Sawn-off pump hand grip shotgun M4 laser sight AK-47 laser sight Plus many more Those would be awsome.
  24. True! But what about Mac? Mac is in seriuose need of some good games.
