  1. It's not that I'm flaming you, but did you just downloaded your GTASA via torrent?
  2. Agreed, since we find Ubuntu a better stretch than Window$...
  3. It's either that you have your character killed or get busted. It's that simple... By the way, why would you want to remove weapons?
  4. Wait, man, chill, chill! I suggest that you update your display driver, as it might be causing the problem...
  5. Agreed. It can also happen in SA-MP, too...
  6. Very well, then make a clean uninstall and reload it again from the original, legit DVD...
  7. Woah, man, chill, chill! If you don't have any third-party mods on your game, then I assume that you have version 2.0 of the game. Try starting GTASA without MTA; if there's a 1.1, 2.0 or 3.0 in the main menu, it means that you have the second or third edition of SA. Try downgrading it to 1.0, and then you may proceed to playing MTA...
  8. Probably because of the fact that there may be some servers in your school computer network that are monitored by some admin guy... You know how easy it is to log a user's viewing history, right?
  9. That's assuming the file types in GTA4 are compatible to earlier GTAs, But I'd love to have some of the new cars converted to SA, Especially the Comet. I'd also love to add a parachute to GTA4, Liberty just cries for base jumping. Get a 'chute for Get-A-Life. Well, it ain't compatible, judging from the use of Renderware in earlier GTAs, but I guess if some guy managed to write export filters for Zmodeler or 3DS Max, than that would be sweet...
  10. They're called userbars, and they are small graphical stuff that shows the preferences of a particular person, such as his/her musical tastes, gadgets used, etc. In my case, as you can see, my userbars show that I'm a fan of the TV movie Eloise, and a client of MrLlamaLlama, a veteran sig maker in this forum. You can get one at Userbars.org - they provide you with instructions on how to use it... Is there a program that can easly create them? Try searching for a userbar maker; there are free utilities that you can use for making one...
  11. Gee, thanks... And also, can you do me a little favour? Like helping me making nice navigation bits? I'll pay you for that... EDIT: It would be nice if it were in a formal style...
  12. OK, so my Mama told me to make one for her catering business, and I was thinking of some ideas for it. I have an early alpha version; the spaghetti's taken from The Liberty Tree, since I'm a GTA fan and all, although it's not yet done and needs some TLC... Any thoughts on this?
  13. No offense, but is it me or is your sig a bit too seizure-ish? I suggest using milder colours for your sig, as some people may not stand viewing electric blues, like me...
  14. Unfortunately, you have to buy it for you to use. We don't tolerate or endorse warez here, sorry...
  15. To make cars, you can use Zmodeler; however, whipping yourself a new car can and will take weeks to make, so maybe you can stick to making textures with TXD Workshop instead...
  16. Condolences to your uncle... May God Bless you and your family...
  17. Yeah, but even if you can't mod the console versions legally, at least it will allow modders of GTA3-era games to use content from IV...
  18. I don't know if some of you have already heard this, but some Russian modder from the GTAForums managed to extract data from the RAGE archives. I know that it doesn't seem to be something that could be called legal, but I ROFL'd when I read this thread: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=341654 The guy, under the alias GooD-NTS, recalled seeing a bunch of unencrypted data - PNG images, XMLs and some file format that I'm yet to know... Any thoughts on this? EDIT: The file carcols.dat is still there, by the way...
  19. LOL your thread made me laugh...

  20. First of all, you posted at the wrong section. Second, it is possible to mod a PS3/PS2/Xbox game, but it would be a complete waste of time since you have to break the copyright protection and burn a new disc every time you mod something. So my advice is to either mod the PC version of SA, or wait until the PC version of IV comes up...
  21. Me? If I were in charge of making a new GTA, I would pick a Japanese gang-banging protagonist named Marcus, who's aim is to help his family and homies. The setting would be in New York (not in LC), set in the present time... Besides multiplayer and normal time, maybe if I would lessen the porn in the game (as some GTA players like me aren't big on that), use a more realistic inventory system (no hammerspace at all; you can carry only what your body can), then that would be better...
