Well yours can't be modded, you need to reinstall now, and use this downgrader patch to downgrade it to v1, v2 is not moddable.

the real is BS'ing. Maybe your SA copy is v2, check that, you can see which version is your copy when you start SA at the start game, options, quit game screen. The version number is in the right bottom corner.
