    Neons and Lambo help

    Hello!

    I have 2 problems regarding the car Neon lights and the Lambo Galardo mod. I installed both of them last night, and I opened my game up, It got to the first splash screen with the pictures of a Bike, Heli, Tommy, a woman, and it gives me an un-handled exception error.

    Please help..

    well.. i got another problem..

    i was making a tokyo drift mitsubishi lancer evo 8..

    well.. look at what happened when i opened my game..

    WOW! Nice car and neons.

    Erm... My suggestions, our to make sure you did everything correctly in the readme. I tried installing a Pueguot 205, and it was totally white :o

    To be honest, I am CRAP at installing cars bikes boats etc etc...

    When I installed a fast car, Lambo Galardo it gave me a damn unhandled exception error :(

    First, make sure this mod is correctly installed.

    Second, get a Car, bike etc etc and go over it.

    If you cannot get over it, contact the map maker.

    I wouldn't say it's too early to start advertising now... if you have the intention of having the forum up soon.

    You could say: GTA - Sector coming (date) to build interest and stuff. a link in your sig will do.

    News sites always tend to be an uphill struggle. It's always a little shaky getting to know the ropes, the lingo, the whole process of it all. And it's always annoying WHEN things go wrong (not IF) I should know. I'm relying on sub - par amounts of knowledege, and a little bit of luck, but i'm getting on, and maybe someday i'll be able to keep it all at a comfortable, manageable level. (not working my ass off because things always go wrong)

    Bear in mind it's not one of those 'finger in many pies jobbies (we all know someone like that..don't we?) if you want it to be a success. Stick at it, you'll get back what you put in.

    Thanks for all of your replies people. I will hopefully release GTA - Sector in 1 month and 2 weeks. So GTA - Sector will be released on the 25th of December. ( On Christmas, isn't that awesome? :) )

    I'll try and make or request for a signature banner for it. I wouldn't mind Chris, Chris82, etc etc, to be staff either. In-fact that would be great!

    I suppose I'd better get to work. :)

    I will have the actual forum advertised in my Signature, but the forum will be offline.

    I was also thinking of using IPSwitch FTP Professional program to upload files. (What do you think?)

    Like.. I know. I was just telling everyone which vice city car mod in thegtaplace.com can drift.

    You don't get what we're saying? OK, Download a car that you want to drift. Now you will see some files such as the txd textures, 3d model and the like. Install it as usual, and find the name of the car in HANDLING.CFG, which can be edited in Notepad. Mods for sports cars (especially Japanese ones) are likely to have drift handling... I recommend that you use an editor such as CFG Studio. Don't worry, it won't mess up your game, as long as you follow the instructions...

    Have fun editing the handling.cfg file; you can sometimes produce interesting results with it - some experienced modders have reached 300+ MPH using a modified handling file...

    Now this is my question and please get it right.

    Are there ANYMORE cars other than this car and this car that CAN DRIFT?

    Why not try asking for VCM files nicely instead of ordering them about. Your a "New Member" of the GTA Place, not the Boss.

    I'll look around for VCM files for you. But if I see any posts of yours ordering other members around again, say good bye from me helping you find VCM files! -_-
