I'm not sure if it should be mandatory.

I'd rather go with a pre-built. I wouldnt even have the time to set up everything and piece everything together. I dont trust myself on adding on, the last time I tried to build one myself, I unplugged everything in the case just to get the harddrive out.
But the one Raybob, and Steam gave me look good.
@WRX - Do you think it would play GTA4? and other games at a good quality?
QUESTION: How many games can you hold on your PC though? 4 or 5?
yeah for sure that's what those PC's are made for. games wouldnt take up more than like 20gb so with 1.5TB you could fit hundreds of games and still have room for other stuff.

And another thing is, if you want to replace the PSU with a stronger one, you can only get one from Dell since the pinouts are different from conventional PSUs.
oh snap. the old HP computer i had, the PSU wasnt standard ATX size, so we had to get a new case
I was going to order the full stock Dell XPS. Good thing I changed my mind. I think I'll order the PC steam showed me. By the way, how in the heck do i know whats what. I know that small thinga majiggy card is a CPU. Correct? So how do I take that out and replace it with a new one?ah so you havent ordered it yet.

wait so you've already ordered your PC or not yet? if you havent yet, then dont and just buy the parts seperately.
but yeah what huck said is right, im pretty sure they use generic (dodgy) PSU's , they are only good for whats inside when you get it, if you do any upgrades aside from ram and hard drive you would want to change that out for a good brand one (antec, seasonic, corsair)
whats the exact specs of the computer you got? you could always upgrade the video card to something like ATi 5850 or nVidia GTX260, 4GB ram is enough, and change your power supply to say for example Seasonic PSR550 or Corsair HX520

It's where people glitch to use a care package (or Sentry / EAD) marker over and over again. So you will be able to have constant air support and such in the sky. It's kind of hard to take them all down to save teammates and stay alive without someone picking you off.
Even though it is funny finding a group of 2 or 3 trying to shoot something down on a map like scrapyard. Free headshots ftw

funny thing yesterday when i was playing, someone got a pavelow. then someone shot it down almost right away. now some guy says over the mic "wow he just shot that down. i had no idea you could do that." he wasnt new either, i think he was on 2nd prestige...

The "crash" on exit, that happens to me. I'm sure its of no real significance.
The savegame crashing however, means that either your version savegame doesnt match your version san andreas (v1/2) or you made the savegame with/without a script mod (main.scm) which you currently have/don't have.

hmm it hasnt seemed much different to me. although some videos take a while to load, since my net is like 7mbps down it usually loads faster than it plays.

I've played it a few times at netcafe but I don't have it (since I dont really have a gaming pc).
Sometimes it's fun but other times it frustrates the hell out of me (when your team is useless lol)

Whenever i click on a button to go to the last post in a topic(the little arrow above the name of the topic), it takes me to the first post instead of the first.And when i read some topics, go to the forums page, and yet again the little icon glows like i haven't read something(green), i even marked a forum as read and yet again it glows.
Anyone else experiencing this?
does it use cookies or whatever? i know at least for firefox ive got it set to delete all cookies, temp files, history etc when it closes so maybe thats the problem.

I was about to post my iTunes top listened, I thought it worked, but the page timed out...anyway, the iTunes ones for me are inaccurate since I moved my library to external, all the stats got reset so the top 10 is like all 1 album.

btw the first one on Top Artists is Yuzo Koshiro, he made the soundtrack for Maximum Tune 3 DX as well as heaps of other stuff. That's top artist because I downloaded the album and that was all I played when I was driving for like a week XD

i've 2.8GHz Core2Duo and 3GB Ram, now i think its my graphics card problem
i just installed 8500GT and its showing 3GB Ram when i install 9600GT
it shows that 2GB memory (RAM) is installed, actually 9600GT Stucks/Hangs
on the old motherboard i contact from where i've purchased my pc they said its
because your board doesn't support 9600GT now i purchased new motherboard
and still 9600GT stucking/hanging i also asked why its showing 2GB ? they said your
graphics card takes 1GB its now shared, and they advised me to disable sharing through
Nvidia control panel then why it shows 3GB in 8500GT ?
because of your motherboard? wtf, its just pci-e should just work.

yeah 8500gt is very low end nowadays, its a lower-midrange but its 2 generations old...
no clue about your 2GB ram thing. well I know the max ram supported for 32bit in theory is 4GB but it works out to be like 3.5gb or something.
its weird that your ram is reported like that, on my laptop it has a nvidia 7300, this is 128mb on the card, and it can take up to 384mb from the system ram, but when i look at properties it says i have the full 2GB.
in short, no idea about the ram problem. upgrade your video card or lower your graphics settings to fix this problem.

hmmm windows ME is a very very dead OS. its unlikely that antispyware programs will support it.
the ones i just looked at only support 2000, XP, Vista, 7...
Maybe you're best off upgrading it to XP. You'll need to reformat it though.

i don't think if i need to upgrade my pc again, well here are my specs :
Memory RAM (3GB) --> 2GB in 1 Slot and 1GB in the second slot
i would like to explain one thing that my pc shows i've 2 GB of RAM but i've 3GB ??? i recently installed windows 7 and it says i've 3GB and now i installed XP SP3 and its showing 2GB, also at the start i tried to run some programs and it cause a clock error, your system clock has been changed. maybe there is a problem because of these things ? why it shows 2GB when i've 3GB ? please help, i'm so confused about it
what about everything else other than your ram?

wait...so your specs are different from the other topic you made?
whats your specs now, what CPU, ram, video card do you have ?
and im guessing, night is more demanding on your resources, more traffic etc takes more power to render than no traffic
you just need to lower your settings (or upgrade your machine)

I've been getting better at this game lately, my k/d ratio went from .84 to 1.05 from learning what to use when. I used to use cb on ALL of my classes, but I've changed it to SP and on one to Danger close. I've tried using ACOG scopes and I really don't like them. I feel like the piece around the actual scope takes up too much space so I've been sticking with irons.
yeah im not a big fan of ACOG scope either. all my classes except the riot shield one (which i hardly use) has stopping power and commando pro. the first perk is either scavenger pro or bling pro. commando pro i like because not only the increased melee distance, but no fall damage. its handy if you're getting shot at and you're up high just jump and run whereas normally you'd die from that height.

dunno if any of you saw this. pretty funny / random...
kill = 5 million experience (to lv70 in one kill) some insane jumping height, a 500 second nuke timer, few other things.
also made kill be negative 5 million, so instantly sent back to lv1. rofl. thank god its not on ps3

trainers work for some stuff but a lot of things it does causes GTA to crash
like when i was messing around with cheatdevice on GTA VCS, it'd freeze the PSP sometimes.
also a GTA3 trainer I had , it would crash the game occasionally. sometimes things just dont work. all i could suggest is try another trainer.
i think spaceeinstein made a all-in-one scriptmod for san andreas like he did for vice city, that had unlim health in it among like another 100 things. have a look around for it.
of course that means you'll need to start a new game though.

Dunno if anyone else is getting them, but for me, like all of yesterday I couldnt get to tgtap, it'd just time out. other sites worked fine. were you upgrading something or what?
today when i went to log in, it timed out then i refreshed and it worked again. what do you reckon could be causing this?
