Which files did the mod replace? The smoke and the rocket aren't controlled by gta3.img. But yes by particle.txd which I don't know how to edit.

Yes, you are suposed to open weapon.dat with the notepad and search for the lines that Outlaw provided you to edit.

I do have them checked, but they seem to be the ones that are not working. If I select items in the list that allow clicking on them and turning them red, they work in the game. I have no idea why only certain ones are selectable though. For instance, I can select and turn red "make traffic pink" and that works. But I cannot select and turn red "ammo health and $25000" so I check that one. I have had success getting it to work via hotkeys 3 times out of a hundred maybe and I can never tell what makes it work when it does. I tried spawning a racecar, LSHIFT+3--that has absolutely no effect. CTRL-Q--Always Sunny...does nothing. So it appears the hotkey cheats do not work. What's your game version? It can depend of it too, since v1.01 is unmoddable.

No Thomas. I actually have that trainer and you can put it in any folder, Madwand, be sure in the Info section that you have all boxes selected to make the hotkeys work while in-game.

To use IMG Tool follow these steps: First, download it from our downloads database and open it. When it's open, click File and click "Open File", then search for a file called gta3.img in C:/Program Files/Rockstar Games/ Grand Theft Auto Vice City/ models, but ATTENTION: You should get there outside the IMG tool, right click on the Grand Theft Auto Vice City Folder and un-tick "Read Only"!!! After that, extract the .txd and .dff files to a folder. When you open gta3.img in the IMG Tool, search for the original (with the same names and format) files and delete both. Then go to Tools (or whatever) and click Add, search for the files, select them both and click Open. Then in the same Tools menu, click rebuild (this will take a while, maybe 15 minutes so you'll have to wait.) Enjoy!

Hello, Is your game from Steam? If yes, I'm afraid that you can't downgrade but if it's v1.1 or 2.0, be sure your game isn't cracked with an illegal No-CD crack.
