According to an article at ComputerandVideoGames.com, Trailer IV may have been revealed a bit too early or was just a complete hoax. Cynamite.de has removed their original article since it is causing a lot of controversy. Rockstar has not commented on the situation yet though. Rockstar is keeping quiet in the face of rumours that a fourth trailer from Grand Theft Auto IV is in the pipeline. The rumour originally appeared on German website Cynamite.de, said to be taken from a recent interview with Rockstar. However, the site has since removed its article, leading to speculation among conspiracy theorists that the report was on the money. Either that or it was just plain wrong. Read More Here

With all the recent talk of Take-Two being bought out by EA, nobody saw this coming, atleast I didn't. Check out what GamaSutra is reporting: "Officials from publisher Take-Two Interactive have announced that the company has acquired Czech based developer Illusion Softworks, best known for the Hidden & Dangerous and Mafia franchises. The developer, which will be renamed as 2K Czech, is already working on Mafia II for Take-Two. Established in 1997, Illusion Softworks has two studios in Brno and Prague in the Czech Republic, with a total of around 200 employees. The two Hidden & Dangerous titles and the first Vietcong were published by Gathering of Developers, which was subsequently acquired by Take-Two. Since then both developer and publisher have continued to work closely, with 2K Czech CEO Petr Vochozka commenting: “We have an excellent working relationship with 2K Games and the utmost respect for them. We are pleased to become a 2K studio and are confident that this new partnership will strengthen our current and future projects”. "The acquisition of Illusion Softworks reflects our strategic focus on owning high-value intellectual property as we continue to expand our portfolio of triple-A titles," said Ben Feder, CEO of Take-Two. Christoph Hartmann, president of 2K, said: "Adding 2K Czech to our network of development studios demonstrates our strong commitment to creating great franchises and building world-class creative teams. The 2K Czech team is responsible for several very innovative and highly-regarded franchises and we look forward to continuing to develop new and existing IP together." This is great news for all of us who don't want to see Take-Two get bought out, but doesn't mean that the acquisition still can't take place. Keep your fingers crossed.

I just did a price look up on Steam, it will only be $53 for all the games, for GTA 1,2,3,SA,VC, it's $26 Valve has announced an agreement with Rockstar Games to make Rockstar's entire PC game catalog available for digital download through its Steam content delivery service. Titles now available for download include Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto II, Grand Theft Auto, Max Payne, Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, Manhunt, Midnight Club: Street Racing II and Wild Metal Country. The agreement between Rockstar and Valve is similar to one Rockstar recently announced with IGN Entertainment's digital retail store, Direct2Drive. Said Rowan Hadaj, head of finance and corporate development of Rockstar Games, "We were immediately excited by the opportunity to offer our PC catalog via Steam because it allows us to reach out to gamers around the world in exciting new ways. Up for auction is a physical piece of gaming irony - a copy of Grand Theft Auto III signed by Jack Thompson. I had this personally signed for me at this year's VGXPO in Philadelphia where Mr. Thompson participated in an open panel debate about violence in video games. The debate was between Mr. Thompson and Mr. Lorne Lanning (creater of the Oddworld series of video games). Before the debate I approached Mr. Thompson and briefly talked to him, where I requested an autograph and a photo (both shown below). As you can see it says "To Nick" before the signature, which is signed in blue sharpie marker. The signature is on the paper inlay sleeve, NOT the outside of the plastic. The game and all inserts are in pristine MINT shape, and is contained inside a larger plastic sleeve for protection. This item is ironic because Mr. Thompson is an attorney notorious in the gaming community for attempting to ban all violent video game sales to minors, and has developed a reputation for a man who "hates all video games" (although that is not the case). At the same time, Grand Theft Auto III is notorious for being the game that parents are warned never to let their children play due to explicit violent content. Found this at Ripten.com Steam, Valve’s download service, has been picking up…city crims, in the form of the Grand Theft Auto 3 Trilogy. GTA1 & 2 have been available to download for years, but it would be quite the gift from Rockstar to get these more recent titles. However, the release of the GTA trilogy isn’t yet certain. The games have only had a phantom appearance on Steam, with $0 price tag. Unlike their predecessors we doubt they’ll be free. With GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas on Steam, what could come after that but the next generation sequel, Grand Theft Auto 4? Yes that's my site lol. I mainly use PhotoImpact actually. Although I am fine using Photoshop just more comfortable using the other. eh, same size here too... I promise I will get to the widescreens soon guys. Been very busy with the other sites in the network I do as well Which brings me to a question, anyone looking to join a site and help out? lol
