I'd say it's either something that the store made (and it's pretty damn good) or it's a teporary thing from R*. I remember seeing temp stuff like this for SA. I doubt it'll be the final, because R* is usually a little more detailed than that on their covers, but you never know... (untill the 29th, that is... ) The use of SIXAXIS has been confirmed by one of the random R* guys. I can't remember which one, but whoever it was said something like, "The sixaxis function will be used in a way that makes sense."

A capture card is basically video and audio IN ports in your computer. it means you can plug in your PS2 or 3 or whatever fits into it and import the signal as video on your computer. You guys in UK use the SCART thingy don't ya? You can get one wherever computer hardware is sold. They can be either internal cards or external devices.

See, for me it's not such a big deal if they only cut something like the prostitute pick-ups again. i don't really care about that, and anyway, who ever really uses them in SA? BUT, if they cut even one single mission or side mission, then I will definately import.

While reading the topic about whether your parents cared about buying GTA games for you while you were underaged, and because of all the crap about the AUS version of GTA IV being edited, I decided to do some research around the good old world wide web. It turns out that the Australian government is/will be debating whether the proposed R18+ rating for video games should be implimented or not. If the rating is implimented, it will mean that no more games will to need be screwed with before they can enter our sweaty little Australian hands. What I want to know is, IF the government decides to go with this new proposal, will R* replace the edited AUS version with complete, unedited copies? What do you folks think? What are your thoughts on the current ratings system in Aus? And finally, do you think it's as ridiculous as I do that Aussie gamers even 30 or 40 years-old aren't allowed to play games that are over MA15+?

I got my PS2 when I was 13, and the first game I got was GTAIII. I'm 17 now (nearly 18) but I've never had any trouble with high rated things. Movies, games, cd's... whatever. They know how much I love GTA, so they never ask questions. They know what's in it content wise, and they don't particularly like them, but they also know it makes me happy, and that I'm not dumb enough to try anything like that in real life, so they don't mind. I already told them about the censoring of GTA IV, and they said it was bullshit. I suppose thats our government trying to wrap it's people in cotton wool again... I ask them; "Have you ever heard of the term, 'FREE COUNTRY'?" That's crap. A salesperson can't stop a kid buying a game like that if their parent is there to give permission... look: People under 15 are not permitted to purchase or rent films or video games classified MA15+ unless they are accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

Dude... It doesn't mean that Liberty City's days will be 48 hours long, it just means that each minute of game time will take 2 seconds of "real time". So one hour game time = 2 minutes real time.

Hell yeah! I couldn't start the game straight away. I'll have to closely examine all of the spesh edition's stuff. And as for getting it, I'm not gonna go to the midnight launch. I'll get it straight after school on the 29th. And, because I live in Aus, we get it a good day before the rest of the world... YAY!

Not gonna rush at all. I hear people say that they're gonna take it slow, around 1-2 weeks, but I think I'll take longer than that. Of course once I get it and start playing, I'll never want to put it down, but I'm going to explore the hell out of it in between maybe every 5-6 missions. I think I could do it in a week, but that sucks. Where's the fun?

That mod is pretty impressive. It'd be really good for making movies.... My favorite mods (cars) are the Lambo Gallardo and the Hummer mods...

Whether or not this has already been discussed, I don't know, but I was just going throught the screenshots gallery of GTA IV, and I thought it would be great if there were next and previous buttons on the page while looking at a picture, like there are in the photo of the day section.

I have a capture card, and I think it captures full dvd quality. Just in case you ever need someone else to do it, I'm more than willing.
