I with you on that one. Same with all Grand Theft Auto games, it's the full package! If you like driving, you can drive. If you like exploring, you can explore. If you like shooting someone in the back of the head with a pump action shotgun.......erm. You could do that but people may call you sadistic...... ! This game is worth every penny and it beats any other game hands down because it is every game.....

As you all know, there has been a rather large handful of screenshots that have been handed out to numerous websites. Well after un-sticking my eyes from the screen, i noticed a little something in the bottom left hand corner. If you look at the map in the bottom left corner you will see a envelope icon. As you have already probably guessed, i think this is how we tell if we have a new message...... Tell me what you guys think of this!?...........

Reason for the difference in map colors is probably because you can change the colors. This may also apply to cars, the speedometers. Like you could do in Need For Speed: Most Wanted..... If not that then it could be an automatic thing. Where if the background is similar to the colors used in the HUD, it will change. So you can see the map more clearer, instead of turning around just to see if what you are looking at is correct. That would make sense but still not sure if that is plausible......Or when you enter new cities. Anyway there are a few ideas. Anyway, these screenshots look cool. Very simple but effective. Now i can enjoy the city, instead of seeing how lovely my gun icon is in the top right!

Australians will now have to import from Europe if they want to obtain an uncensored PAL version of GTA IV. Rockstar is yet to comment on what has been removed from the local PAL release, leaving many gamers quite frustrated. If they had it for Xbox 360 then yes, i think it is worth it but for the PS3 Bundle, Defiantly NO!

I just want to put this idea forward or should i say, i hope to see this. In the game Crackdown, you would see advertisement boards dotted around the city. They advertise things that where in the game but would also show advertisements for upcoming films. Now if it is possible to show up to date advertisements, then i think this could be implemented into Grand Theft Auto 4....May not do this, but it would make sense as they could keep the game feeling fresh, with up to date information. What do you guys think!?......

Yeah, do not always believe what you read through Wiki........People can change what it says and put false stuff in there. Many people do it! Still i do think tanks will be present. Yeah they are two totally different games, so you cannot compare but i would say, player wise. Grand Theft Auto 4 will rack up A LOT more players online. Call Of Duty 4 is just a poor game, it only just grasped the spotlight by going modern.......They still gave out the same tedious game play....... Grand Theft Auto For Ever!........ ....

This sounds cool. Nice to see they gave it 10/10, which i do think it deserves. Not only for the actual game but for the amount of effort they put into making this what it is!..... ..

Now this has been bothering me for a while. It seems that every time graphics are mentioned, someone says." Grand Theft Auto is not about the graphics ".......Well when it goes Next-Gen, it is a problem. Here is a bit of information provided by www.gta4.net. While we have seen many overly positive previews so far, GTA IV certainly can't be perfect -- no game is. Luckily there are still some journalists out there who dare to have a slightly critical look at R*'s latest piece. Two of those are IGN's Patch Kolan and Cam Shea, who review the game's multiplayer component in Good Cop, Bad Cop style. Amongst the things they aren't too happy about are clumsy camera controls, an imbalanced lock-on system, frame-rate hiccups and most worryingly the graphics: "The depth-of-field blur effect is far too heavily applied to the multiplayer game. Everything that is more than 50 feet down the street from you starts to pixelate and distort strangely, as if filtered through a haze of tiny droplets of vegetable oil." That is indeed something many people are confused about. In most screenshots we can see blurry, low-detail buildings (not just in the distance), as well as heavy distortion -- especially in areas of water, foliage and shadows -- resembling a quality known only from paintings. According to a recent Kotaku article, those distortion filters are intended to actually improve the game's visuals: "I suspect there's a filter involved, something that gives the world a touch of artistry. Whether this is for better or for worse and impacts the gameplay noticably, remains to be something players will have to decide for themselves when the game comes to stores later this month. Well he is right about Call Of Duty 4, they have made no such improvements since they first started making these games. Also very repetitive gameplay. Still your friend cannot judge a game before it is out and you see it running but i can see where he gets his ideas from as there has been no such company that has made groundbreaking improvements as of yet. Rockstar on the other hand have brought in a new animation system using euphoria and generated yet again another gigantic map with plenty to do. So that alone is worth the buy! I have always said that Rockstar is the only company making games that make me think, Hey! This is worth £40......Still it even gets on my nerves that games like Call Of Duty and even the new installment of Rainbow Six Vegas has made no such groundbreaking improvements.....Still it is nice to see that the new Battlefield: Bad Company game has new destructive environments, that it what buying a new game is all about. Making improvements not releasing the same product but with little extras added....It makes me ............
