I can not say that I'm buying Grand Theft Auto 4 for specifically either single player or multiplayer, because I'm looking forward to BOTH. But when I first get the game I will probably try single player mode first for a couple of hours to familiarize myself with the new control mechanics so I don't get slaughtered on team deathmatch in multiplayer. I also finally changed my XBL gamertag to 'GTA4EXPERT' just in time for GTA4. (Waiting for April 29th, 2008 - )

I would strongly recomend that you get Rainbow Six Vegas 2. I own both (for the 360) and I was a little disappointed in Vegas 2 because the first game took me a month to beat as compared to vegas 2, only took me two days. But thats not saying that it wasn't good, I loved playing the single player mode. The main selling point of Vegas 2 is going to depend on who is buying it. The new revamped co-op mode is 100% better than the original Vegas, if you're not into co-op it also has very fun multiplyer player modes online.

Found this info at http://www.gta4.net/news/index.php Reviews not far away Posted by adamcs at 13:12. Category: General The first reviews of Grand Theft Auto IV are expected to arrive within the next couple of weeks, and today OPM UK announced that their review will begin reaching subscribers of the magazine around April 22nd. Official Xbox Magazine have already announced that their review will go on sale on April 19th. Meanwhile a number of other reviews are also expected from the likes of IGN and GameSpot at around the same time. Subscribers will receive their issues around April 22nd, according to the OPM team. The first ever review of GTA: San Andreas came from the US edition of OPM on October 23rd 2004 (three days before the game was released) and then various other reviews followed shortly after. It was also at this time when the first HUD screens and voice actor info began to emerge, so perhaps we can expect something similar this time. I still think it will take an enormus amount of time to complete this game just as it has with every grand theft auto, heck, i haven't even finished half of them. I'm not worried because they said it took Rockstar 2 weeks to beat the game playing four hours a day! I only get about a half hour with my 360 everyday so im not complaining!!!!

Is this going to be the cover for GTA IV Special Edition? Xbox 360 - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1199496320718 PS3 - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1199496320778 I found these at BestBuy.com and it has me wondering if these are the true covers or not because before the Special Edition and Regular Edition were exactly the same. I checked at a few other sites and they stiil look the same as before.

I used to be a big EA fan , not anymore , I made a promise to myself once this hostile T2 v. EA stuff started happening... a promise to NEVER buy another EA game. I really hate the fact that EA is trying to take over T2. One, because I hate all the EA games on the market right now, they are soo stale, for example, you would be hard pressed to find a difference between Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2000 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 with the execption of the players and graphics. Two, because EA is already dominating most of the video game market including: Madden, NBA Live, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, NASCAR, NCAA Football, NCAA Basketball, FIFA Street, FIFA Soccer, Need for Speed, Burnout, Fight Night, The Simpsons Game, RockBand, The Sims, The Sims 2, SimCity, MySims, Ninja Reflex, Medal of Honor, MVP Baseball (Triple Play), Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Crysis, Command and Conquer, Battlefield, Army of Two, 007 (James Bond), F1 Challenge, NBA Street, NFL Street, SSX, Rugby, Spore(yet to be released), Portal, Mass Effect, NFL Tour, Half-Life, The Godfather, Mercenaries, Black, and Skate. I think EA will make enough profit from this ridiculously extensive list of games. I would like to know, out of curiosity, who dislikes EA?

Weazel News Update: EyeFind.info "We reported a month or so ago that we believed the in-game search engine in GTA4 would be called EyeFind.info. We came to this conclusion based on the fact that behind the LCPD kiosk in star junction, there was a billboard advertising "EyeFind.info". In real life, there is a yahoo sign behind the NYPD kiosk. Read here for more info. Anyway, this has turned out to be the case, and an update to Rockstar's Weazel News website talks about the search engine." I found this new information at http://www.gta4.tv/article/785522/weazel-n...te-eyefindinfo/

I already own a Xbox 360 Pro console, my Xbox 360 has been very good to me. I bought a few months after launch, and I have had no problems whatsoever. But I'm becoming slightly worried because my Xbox 360 is starting to freeze, not like every time I play a game freeze put in the past two months its probably frozen twice. I was looking at getting a blu-ray player for my HDTV, then noticed that the Playstation 3 is very similar in price to most blu-ray players on the market. So I began thinking if the PS3 is worth my money. Obviously GTA IV is comming out on the PS3, so if my Xbox 360 ever takes a dump on me I can just get it for the PS3. Will you please tell if you think I should invest in a PS3, why or why not? Also tell me, what do you like about your PS3? What do you not like about it? Please give me examples with your answers (I don't want any Xbox 360 fanboys answers). Thank You.

What will you do first in the game?
nikolaibellic replied to little_homer's topic in GTA IV Discussion + Help
I don't know what I'll do first in the new Liberty City, but I can assure you I will not do missions first. I really want to get a good feel for the game, which will include messing around with the pedestrians, getting a nice view of the city (especially at night time), try to reteach myself how to get around the city with the new driving mechanics. I'm also looking forward to testing out the new 'euphoria' physics engine. I think a good way to do this is get on a bridge a jump in front of an oncomming semitruck! It will look so nice -
"If you can't pull over before you get into a shootout, have no fear -- any weapon in the game can be fired while behind the wheel. So don't drive angry!" Wow, this game is going to kick some serious ass!!!! I'm going to be playing this game for the rest of my life and I'll never get bored!!!!
