Rockstar denied the fact there would be a multiplayer mode, however new details have emerged on a two-player co-operative mode. Small gaming site SPOnG got a chance to see a preview of the game in action and it was inevitable they were going to ask about a multiplayer mode. The response they got was pleasently suprising So this is going to mean a whole new adventure for gamers when playing San Andreas. Rockstar sure have taken this game to a whole new level, in fact, more than that, it's on a level of it's own. No game will ever surpass the immense playability of GTA:SA. Thanks to GTASanAndreas.net for the info.

After analysing the poll I recently made a whopping 85% of you said you would like to see a picture of the week system. So I made one. Click here if you would like to submit your cool screenshot. Read the rules before submitting. Depending on the amount of submissions we receive it may be made into Picture of the Day but for now it will be for the entire week. Also it has been tested and seems to work fine but any problems just reply to this.

no he didnt want them at GTAGaming anymore as he felt some staff had pissed him off so much they dont deserve to have his mods there. Something like that anyway.

IGN and Gamespot have each posted one new screenshot. IGN shows Carl holding an M16 while Gamespot's shows the 'Welcome to Las Venturas' sign. Links: IGN Screen, Gamespot Screen

I would like to announce that the awesome Switch Designs has chosen to join The GTA Place. After leaving GTAGaming, Switch received offers from loads of websites who wanted him but after careful consideration he decided he liked our site the most. He has made over 100 mods, all of which he will be adding to the downloads database as soon as he's ready to start. I hope you will all give Switch a warm welcome here.
-
Ah thought someone might have spotted him. Yes Switch has decided to join us which is a great compliment towards me and the whole site. Switch Designs is one of, if not the best GTA modder/moddler in the world, he has over 100 mods all of which will be added to the downloads database as soon as he's ready to start. There will be an official announcement later today.

Left analog control or Dpad for movement!
Chris replied to Paul D.'s topic in General GTASA Discussion
same as mvi, the analog stick is so much more precise, especially useful in racing games mostly but for GTA too. EDIT: Paul is this the first ever forum youve been on in your life, you seem really inexperienced or are just a newb n00b -

Some very interesting news has arose from GTASanAndreas.net, according to Games magazine there may well be a secret two player mode, here is a quote from the mag: So there you go, just imagine it, it seems a plausible idea after hearing of driving schools and boating schools. Rockstar did confirm it wouldn't be multiplayer, yes. But a top secret two player mode is certainly not out of the equation.

What would you definitely like to see in GTA: SA?
Chris replied to Precision's topic in General GTASA Discussion
Definately a rock station needs to be there, well all of them should be there but rock... -
The Australian government have given San Andreas a MA15 rating, currently the highest rating there is (which is why certain things have been cut). A higher rating than MA15 is currently under review that would be given to all videogames of a violent nature that would only be suitable for mature audiences. As for other Australian members here, i'm not sure there are many, Tom is Australian but he doesn't go on any forums any more. Getting the New Zealand copy of the game which is apparently uncut would be your best option of getting an uncensored version of the game

yeah like some of the cretins at my school would find this game sooo complicated that the complexity of it would overpower their 3 brain cells they have. It will be so immense that the not so avid gamers im sure will find it slightly hard to grasp but eventually everyone will be ok with it. I will and many others here will and thats what makes the forum good when we can all help each other out
-
yeah see im wondering whether it is actually worth them releasing it on the GBA, especially at the same time as San Andreas, they won't make a lot of money off of it, as most people are going to buy SA instead
