This is some awesome new San Andreas info here, it's a summary of what will be in GameInformer's upcoming magazine. Full Credit to GTAGaming for the info. [Temporarily removed due to GameInformer wanting to keep it a truly world exclusive to their magazine so we are accepting their wishes and are removing it until they give us permission to put it up again]

Just thought i'd post a couple of news stories to calm the excitement down from the screenshots, the first of which is from the magazine 'Game Informer' who have conformed they will be giving us the world exclusive preview of San Andreas The second story is from Gamespot, they are saying that Rockstar have released plot details but i'm not sure how real they are. If you can't be bothered to read it all just skip down to the bottom where I have summarized it all. So from this I have gathered these facts: The game will be set in the early 1990's The main character will be called CJ a.k.a Carl Johnson The game will be set in the state of San Andreas (not city as previously thought) and will revolve around several cities, one of which maybe called Los Santos You can decide how true this all is but it's from GameSpot and they're usually pretty reliable

Finally the day is here where we have the first official screens http://www.rockstargames.com/sanandreas/ has been updated with a nice new Flash intro and they've added the first few screenshots too! This car has been around for ages but I havent seen it at many sites for download so I decided to add it here, also 5 more cars coming soon. It's made by Nathan and it looks awesome, just look at the screen I took Download it here - 1.26 MB (VCM)

yeah because MGS3 and GT4 have both been covered well and both have many screens and videos for them and so has Driv3r, i guess it could be a sequel to another game like True Crime 2 or The Getaway 2 since they dont have much info on them yet

In this months Game Informer magazine it says: Now this could well be San Andreas, remeber Take-Two said the first previews would be in June. And also Game Informer had the world exclusive preview for Vice City so theres no reason to say they wont have the world exclusive for San Andreas. I don't recall hearing about any other 'monster titles' that are being released soon so I cant actually think what else it would be Lets just hope it is

yes i know about these, i check there about once a week but decided not to install those ones if you want them then i guess i can install them two games on there we definately wont be getting are Plasma and Jewels Jewels becuase i did actually put this on the forum and when i tested it it seemed to never end so i deleted it Plasma becuase of the size, its over 1mb so for the majority of people with 56K it wont be worth us getting

which mods in particular? also what was the link to the file on IBPlanet with the center mod and stuff?

thanks, its mainly thanks to GTAGaming for letting me use a few of their mods, having said that im not allowed to use any of the screens so I have to get my own for each file so i guess alot of the work is by me, well all bar switch designs who has let me use his screens thanks anyway

Yeah google was the first and since Yahoo uses Googles database its in there too I never submitted it to any others so if we are on other search engines its through becoming popular, and the fact that the search engine spiders have read the meta tags and stuff We are also in Lycos, Archive.org, Hotbot, alltheweb, AltaVista??? and probably others

what other kind of vehicle mods are there, what exactly do you want?

Over the past few days I have been busy gathering downloads and getting screenshots for all of them and I have now added most of them. So take a look round our Download Database and look at all the great new files. In other news I added the filesize mod to pafiledb so now on each file download page it tells you the accurate size of the file. I have also added a feedback form for the site which can be found here You will be pleased to know I still have loads more files to add to the database so expect them during the next few days

Shadow Arcade 1.6 has been released today and I am going to upgrade right now so dont bother playing any games right now because some stuff might happen so just wait till i have finished upgrading I will post again once its done and tell you about the changes I may add some new games as well EDIT: Should be ok now, i'm adding some more games in the coming days and may delete some of the crappy ones like frogger if there are any bugs then post them here, you should be able to notice all the new features and if anything looks weird post it here so i can sort it out too

if i dont find out whats causing the open sessions then im afraid it will happen again but I think I know something that might be causing it so if its that then i'll fix it and it wont happen again

I apologize for the recent downtime, the site wa suspended becuase for 'High Apache Usage' That means we were using up too many resources on the web server, I didn't have a clue what was causing this so i contacted the host and they looked into it and found that it was due to thousands of open sessions, I have no idea why there are open sessions so for now I have taken some things down that are using sessions such as the user panel, forum stats and whos online and hope this keeps the sessions down while we try to fix the problem Once this is all done I will be adding around 50 downloads to the database!
