Yeah it's a long install. Though not as long as IV @Bateman: I get what you mean about single player, with it being non-linear and some of the missions tedious. I however, still thought it was pretty good. And for me, it took me about the same time to complete as I did CoD4... couldn't really call it shorter or longer to be honest... Linearity is a flaw in most first person shooters. In MW2 the only non-linear aspects are in the stealth missions where you can choose to kill or not kill certain anonymous henchmen, nothing big at all. Spec ops is pretty decent, did a couple of the mission solo earlier tonight and they were quite cool missions. Some are actually quite challenging on veteran mode. Will play some co-op tonight probably. Multiplayer I've only played one TD game so far. Fucking hate the console-style matchmaking system. It fucking sucks. They really need to bring back dedicated servers. The gameplay is fine, mostly, I mean they removed the ability to lean... wtf is up with that? Dedicated servers though would be a massive improvement to the PC version.

LOL no it isn't. Sony makes the PS3, not Microsoft. Your logic is flawed, sir.

Single player is actually awesome. Haven't played multiplayer yet but my friend has and says the matchmaking fucking sucks... no surprise there. Shame they've ruined what would have been such an amazing game..

A new title update for GTA IV PC released today has added achievements for The Lost and Damned! No official announcement from Rockstar or Microsoft on this, but by the looks of it we can say with some degree of certainty that the game will be coming to the PC version of GTA IV. Microsoft paid $50 million for the exclusive DLC, however, no details of the deal were ever made public - whether it was a timed or permanent exclusive, or whether it was an Xbox 360 or GFWL exclusive. At the time of posting there is still no changelog for what else the patch does. Though as per usual there are a wide variety of opinions, some claiming small performance increases, while others say it "doesn't do dick"... More on that when we get the changelog.

What the fuck is this bullshit. I have a legit fucking copy, yet I cannot play it because, and you can clearly see in that screenshot... I cannot PURCHASE STEAM in my country Can anyone make sense of that? Steam is a free piece of software, you can't purchase Steam in any country because it's not sold... This has got to be by far the biggest technical fuck up since Microsoft released Windows Vista... Fuck... this is worse than that time I upgraded from 98 to Windows ME. EDIT: Is this because of some release date shit? Again, another epic fail. How many failures will this game have. Having a failure before I can even install the game is retarded as shit.

One of the wallpapers that comes with it?

Oh, baseball. World series? World? World? AFAIK, only American teams compete for this... fucking cretins. If it's a single country's teams it's national not world. America != World and they need to learn that.

Well to be perfectly honest I don't think staying in LC will be good. I still want Vice City. I'm hoping what we're actually looking at in that small tear is actually palm trees on a Miami beach.... if you look at it a certain way... it kinda looks it

Fans who have pre-ordered Episodes from Liberty City have been receiving their copies, some fans spotted something interesting on page 13 of the manual. "Liberty City, It's over! Next stop". Take a look at this: It's a small, not particularly detailed picture, so we can't really tell much from it. Yet. What do you think? Credit to DigiShine on GTAForums for the scan.

£30 for a capture card will be absolute shit. If you want good results you gotta pay a LOT more than that mate, really. Blackmagic Intensity cards are widely regarded as the best on the market for capturing from an HD source: http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/ One will set you back more than £100 though... I dunno it's your choice of course, but a cheap card will not deliver good results. As for how it works. Well it's been a long time since I did any video capture. When I used to capture from my PS2, I had the S-Video cable going into my PC's capture card, and the 3 RCA connectors, these: going into my TV. This meant I had the video on my TV and my PC at the same time. Recording the video straight to my hard drive. Anyway my point is you could probably do something similar with your PS3, since you say you don't have an HD TV, so you presumably aren't using HDMI (honestly that must absolutely suck lol, I can't imagine playing today's games in SD )

As many of you are no doubt aware, the PSP version of Chinatown Wars is now available worldwide, having been released in stores across North America on Tuesday, and then yesterday in the rest of the world. Just like it's DS counterpart, the PSP version has also been very highly rated by critics. It is currently Gamespot's highest rated PSP game of all time. It's 9.5/10 rating surpasses that of both Liberty City Stories (8.6) and Vice City Stories (8.4) - so if you were a fan of those, you're sure to love Chinatown Wars. Gamespot didn't really have that much to say of any flaws, apart from the fact some of the DS minigames don't play as well on the PSP (which we expected), and some camera issues. Yesterday IGN posted a couple of new videos from The Ballad of Gay Tony. The first video shows the cutscene from the mission "Caught with Your Pants Down", while the second video shows gameplay from the mission. Obviously if you don't want this particular mission spoiled, don't watch the videos! You can read details of the mission over at IGN.

Just get a HDMI -> DVI cable. That's what I used when I used to play on my monitor.
