  1. It came across as condescending to me. The message I drew out of it was, "You bit off more than you can chew and you will need help, little buddy." At any rate, I dislike both McCain and Obama, but the better man won.
  2. I actually just switched from using Hotmail to using Gmail, though I switched because I didn't like the new layout of the former.
  3. I say just keep her inside. If humans can adjust to lifestyle changes, so can domestic cats.
  4. I can't prove or disprove the pictures, but I do believe in spirits.
  5. I speak French, and now I want to know what languages macrorules speaks.
  6. Lifetime. My brother, who lives with me, watches The History Channel too much for the sake of yelling at it. He's odd, to put it lightly.
  7. I saw Kindergarten Cop the other day and loved it. I hate how the ending is, well, the ending, but I loved it nonetheless. I'm trying to watch The Waterboy, but I don't like it. Too cheesy for even me.
  8. It wasn't so bad. I liked it well enough, though many of the relationships were stereotypical.
  9. Country music is my favorite genre, actually.
  10. I could fit right in with the people of your neighborhood! Where in the world do you live? I've always felt like a freak of nature because most people are the direct opposite of this. I have Triple-X syndrome, which is a genetic disorder. I have 47 chromosomes instead of the usual 46, that extra chromosome being an extra X. The politically incorrect term is "Superfemale," which I think sounds strange because it makes me think of superheroes. Superheroes us ladies are not. Anyway, social impairment is among the symptoms. That's not to say I'm shy. Matter of fact, I've never been able to fully wrap my mind around shyness. At times, I can be overly extroverted to the point of irritating. But there is a clear difference between being social and having social skills. I'm stupidly blunt without meaning to be, and often unaware of how I come across. I have plenty of friends and do have a social life, but ask any one of my friends about me and they'll tell you I'm a strange one.
  11. I didn't talk until I was fifteen months old. The first thing I said was the alphabet. However, I was walking long before I was talking.
  12. I have a niece who is diagnosed as having high-functioning autism. Honestly, though, I think my entire family falls somewhere along the spectrum though that's not the type of thing I am going to tell them.
  13. No, being shy is not related to anxiety disorder. I'm not shy in the least, though I almost (but not quite) meet the criteria for G.A.D. I am noticeably over worried and stressed. It was my fiancé who insisted I be medicated for this, as a matter of fact. We compromised; I take herbal pills.
  14. I was twelve. He was eleven. Everyone assumed we were a couple, so we decided to be a couple to prove them wrong. Then we decided to kiss to prove them even more wrong. We were only fooling ourselves, and not doing a good job of that.
  15. To answer the original question, I don't think this was intended to be a religion centric argument. What I do think is that this plan will fail if it is indeed real, and that the folks who are planning on this are immature enough to want to use their scientific "toys" to blow up the planet.
  16. I am a bisexual female, and I am engaged in a hetereosexual relationship.
  17. Hello. I am a member of Huckleberry Pie's forum, obviously. Nice to meet you all.
  18. My opinion is that her parents are her foster parents, and her life in general is also unstable. I have bipolar disorder myself. So does my family; I don't want to label the world, but I know the girl in question. I was the one to suggest the possibility of bipolar, another member posted this during our staff discussion, and this was more-or-less agreed upon by all involved. Regardless, she is cooling down. She's young, as are most fans of the 2003 - 2009 Strawberry Shortcake. True, she acts like a spoiled brat, but she is fine if you work with her. It's us older members who have to "outreach" to her, so to speak, as she's somewhat frightened the girls closer to her own age. The point is that she'll be fine soon enough. We've been at this for about a week, and I personally think we're progressing well.
